'Young and the Restless' Spearheads Daytime Emmy Nominations

CBS exceeded all networks and The Young and the Restless topped all shows when nominations were announced for the 35th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which will be held on June 20 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

The leading network bagged 56 nominations, with The Young and the Restless earning 17, including a nomination for best daytime drama. PBS came in second place with 50 nominations, while ABC, which will televise the event, received 39 nominations.

I believe their ratings sky-rocketed with Trace Adkins guest appearance
on May 2nd!

I like the Actress that plays Phyllis
but the actor that plays Jack I actually hate!

I was pleased reading that the actress that plays Jana received a nomination.

Y&R is my favorite soap. I have watched it for years.

This is my fav soap. I love it and i'm happy its getting alot of nominations.

I have been watching Y&R for 17 years My favorite couple use to be Nick&Sharon ... I really liked it when Jewl performed at the coffee house & Enrique Iglesias perfromed at Indigo

I have been watching Y&R for 17 years .. My favorite couple use to be Nick&Sharon I was not happy when Nick cheated on Sharon anyways.... i really liked it when Jewl performed at the coffe house & when Enrique Inglesias performed at Indigo
