Adrianne Leon played Colleen on The Young and the Restless

According to soap star Adrianne Leon, the daytime drama series, The Young and the Restless, told her Monday that she will no longer be appearing on the show.

“I was notified today (June 18th) that I will no longer be part of the cast of Y&R and that the last day I worked (last week) was actually my last day there,” the 21-year-old actress wrote in her MySpace blog. “I wish I would have known that then... and had taken the opportunity to let everyone know just how much I enjoyed working with them in addition to how greatly they will be missed.”

I am glad they are changing her. I was so tired of her constant wining and "me,me,me" attitude and that fact that she could not be trusted. 9702

I am sad to ee Adrienne leave the show. She was excellent in her role. I hope that it was story line dictated as opposed to they plan a replacement. I can't imagine anyone else in the role.

That is kinda harsh to be let go like that. Y&R is very unpredictable, just like the writers.

There one day and gone the next! Looks like they could have at least let her move to Europe. And since we're talking about the story line, the Daniel, Amber & Kevin storyline is so lame. And Victor leaving without ever calling home and never leaving his cell phone on.. how unrealistic, especially right after Nick's supposed death. Maybe Y&R should consider replacing some of their writers instead of their cast members!!!

I second that emotion. I have gotten to where I would rather record it, and then watch it later than air time so I can fast forward thru anything having to do with Gloria or William, Amber or Cane, and I am getting tired of the candidates already.
I don't know what the writers promote so much dishonesty, and unlawful behavior. In reality we would have called the cops immediately if a body was in your home.

I have been watching Y&R for 22 years and I must say I don't recall ever getting sick to my stomach before till I have to watch Amber and Cane make out. is that all the two good for? Amber is the one who they need to fire.

I say harsh to fire a person that way. After the story line with J.T. and the Professor involement,now they just boot her off the show! What use is there for the professor now! I agree Sydney Amber/Cane is boring Gloria William already old. Just makes no sense to have has a story line with Colleen and the prof.and the fire Kevin being framed. And then to kick her off the show. The writers are smoking crack!!!! Thats why they didn't do better at the emys!

The writers are the ones who should be fired - not Adrianne. The sister Bold & Beautiful has bad writing too But you can't fire Bradley Bell. Both soaps have identical storylines.

I have been a fan for along time and enjoyed the show until i read the collen was being replaced...WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!
