| Junior Member | On hanso's active projects, the one with the life extension project after u send that message to joop and then play the game you get those documents. It said that there was a virus in zanibar africa. what if the virus was contagious to human? And that virus could be the sickness that danielle (the french chick) mentioned. Even though it started in africa, maybe desmund was there and got it and then was in a shipwreck on the island and then spread it and then took those steriods or whatever those were in the hatch to make him not sick. its a little far out but still.... |

| Nope, I posted this elsewhere, but the virus mentioned in Africa was meningococcal, which is meningitis. From what I know (and although I work in healthcare I am NOT a doctor by any stretch) of meningitis, it is a swelling of the meninges, or fluid-sacs around the brain and spinal cord, and typically starts showing as a common cold or flu, but quickly progresses and, in the bacterial form, is fairly fatal, especially in adults. Tends to be less severe in children (theory negator number 1) and when it does present in fatal form, kills quickly, (theory negator number 2) therefore Rousseau wouldn't ahve had to kill her crew due to being 'sick'. She seems to allude to the sickness causing mental changes, although I would have to go back and check the episodes with her for more detail on this. Just my .02$. |
