'As the Word Turns' Actor Thanks Fans for Supporting His Controversial Storyline

Until now, the five-second kiss between Luke Snyder and Noah Mayer (Jake Silbermann) on As the World Turns is still the subject of controversy in forums and message boards on various websites. While their locked lips made history on daytime television, it has also divided viewers into those who are for and against the Luke/Noah storyline. On the other hand, Van Hansis, who portrays Luke, is quite fond of his gay plot and even considers the love story as a huge success.

Most of the polls set up in various websites, which gauges just how much viewers of As the World Turns love or hate the Luke and Noah romance, have resulted to a nearly equal score for those who voted against and in favor of the plot. For Hansis, however, fans' reactions are overwhelmingly positive.

i want them to look in each others eyes and tell each oher there fellings and fall over heal in love noah ask luke to marry him and luke says yes they get marryed no matter what

I'm a huge fan of Luke and Noah and I hope I get to see more them! These two young actors are amazing as their parts. They really can act. Me and my husband are both straight but their relationship is one of the reasons why we continue to watch "As The World Turns". Straight people can relate to the story too!
