as the world turnsLast week on As the World Turns, Liberty (Meredith Hagner) blew off her mother Janet (Julie Pinson) and set her sights on teaching Parker (Mick Hazen) a lesson about girls.  Although she set up Parker and Ashley face to face for a kiss, Parker backed out and she ended up kissing him herself.  Additionally, Paul (Roger Howarth) rejected Sofie's (Justine Cotsonas) offer to sleep with him and left her crying on his floor.  Sofie's fury off the rejection caused her to trash Paul's room and cut herself in the process.  Meg (Marie Wilson) admitted to a disappointed Mike (Jon Prescott) that she is still in love with Paul and then later, caught up with Paul and declared her love for him.

The drama continues this week on As the World Turns. Read on for more spoilers.

It takes MORE than one time watching a soap opera to know whether you're going to like it or not! It's not like regular episodic TV, where there's a beginning AND a conclusion all in one show. You need to watch it for a while to decide if it's for you or not. I have been watching As The World Turns for YEARS. It took me a little while to get all the storylines, to get to know the characters, and to see where all the storylines were going. It can NOT happen just watching it ONCE.

I've been watching ATWT for 20 years. Probably more since I watched when I was a kid because that's what my grandmother's watched. The show has gone downhill recently. With Martha Byrne (the ONLY Lily) gone, there isn't much reason to watch. The saving grace of this show is CarJack. Bring back Craig Montgomery (Scott Bryce) and James Stenbeck. That was good TV.
