If your New Year's resolution involves a wad of meat, an oversized bag of fries and a feisty milkshake, then hang on to your wig because 2008 is going to be your year. That's right, all 14 episodes from the fifth season of the Adult Swim television series is now available on a 2-disc set. Adult Swim released the Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 5 DVD today with a suggested retail price of $29.98. This volume features more than 170 minutes from the series, including four other previously unreleased episodes including the highly-anticipated uncensored version of the “Dickesode” episode. The DVD also boasts a serious line-up of bonus features. They include an “Aqua Teen Respond to the Critics” featurette, “I Like Your Booty But I'm Not Gay” music video, deleted scenes and an Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie premier featurette with Space Ghost. BuddyTV has five copies of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 5 DVD to give away. All you have to do to enter the contest is reply to this thread with a short paragraph explaining why you like (or don't like) Aqua Teen Hunger Force. One winner with the best answer will receive a DVD; four other winners will be selected randomly. You have until Tuesday, February 5 at 11:59am ET to reply. At that time, the thread will be closed and the winners will be announced. ![]() Best of luck to all! Last edited by BuddyDebbie : 01-29-2008 at 01:49 PM.

Well, I must say that Aqua Teen Hunger Force will always be the best memory of my introduction to college. I'm a senior now, but as a freshman, I quickly made friends with a group of people on my dorm floor, and we would always get together on Sunday nights to watch Adult Swim's new episodes. Aqua Teen quickly became my favorite; I always found myself laughing whenever Carl spoke, mostly because of the way his voice sounds and his constant anger towards everyone else. Shake is mean and biting but in a funny way, which is what I used to be like in high school. Meatwad, is, well, the funniest ball of meat around (sorry AD fans, the Bluth's cornballers come in second) and Frylock can shoot freakin' lasers out of his eyes. How cool is that? This show combines everything I like: superheros, animation, and most of all, insulting, sarcastic, weird humor. Salute!

I remember the first time I saw ATHF. My husband had just run across it and insisted that I watch it with him. Initially I was kind of horrified and it seemed incredibly stupid. After a while, I realized there was a lot more to it than I first thought. I became a big fan of the show after watching just a few episodes. It is stupid in some ways, but in other ways it's extremely clever. Most of all, however, it reminds me of the more carefree days of my youth and how much I might have enjoyed it when I was prone to be less sober. It almost induces an altered state just watching it. My favorite episode is The Shaving, with the very unscary monster who apparently really enjoys "juice." I need Season 5 to continue my collection and to go with the ATHF t-shirts in my closet. I also had the misfortune to miss many episodes of Season 5 because I was working on the road and didn't have access to Cartoon Network. Thanks Buddy TV!

I like the show because it's got that cheesy white boy rapping kinda feel to it. I LOVE the show because you guys will hopefully send me a dvd of it to watch so i can see it when it's not on cartoon network. Plus that ad campaign they did with the light brite looking things that made everybody think it was terrorist stuff was definately amusing.

I've actually never watched the show, but this would be a great way to check it out....because then what I'd LOVE about it is getting it free!

I think I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force because it is so off the wall. It is one of those shows that you never know where it is going to go and don't really understand sometimes where it was and that's alright. It's all about the humor and there is not much out there funnier than this show.

You don't need the traditional sitcom to have a funny show. That's why this show rocks.

I love ATHF because it's different from anything else! From it's characters to it's plots, it's paving it's own road in the "adult" cartoon world. This aint no "Smurfs"
