As you know, the 2007 Country Music Awards will be broadcast on ABC on Wednesday, November 7 at 8/7c. It's going to be really exciting because multi-talented, Academy Award winning actor Jamie Foxx will join reigning CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year Rascal Flatts for a duet performance to open the event which will be held live at the Sommet Center in Nashville. To help get your country music groove thing going, BuddyTV is giving away a sweet package of goodies to get you in the mood. All you have to do to enter is reply to this thread with your answer to the question "If you could present any award at the 41st CMA Awards, which would you choose and why?" I would say Entertainer of the Year ! cos they're the ones who give pleasure or relaxation to the audience! they are creatives, actives, funny, and they mostly do there work on there own (no one does it for them!)
they provide leisure and joy and they are talented!
and there is the whole idea of having 4 or 5 pepole in the room on there nerves waiting just for you to open a small envoloppe and say two or three words! I would take my time(Danm I like to torture pepole!)
(I'm not so good I saying the reasons behind my choices!)

Id like to present the Horizon award...its one of the awards that people love to get and be nominated for so would be great to present it and be the one to slowly open the little envelopes etc

If I could present any award at the 41st Annual CMA Awards, I would choose Musical Event of the Year. I would choose Musical Event of the Year because it's a category that is quite different from other award shows. If we look at award shows, there will always be those categories like top/lead "Male" whether it's movies, TV shows, singers, etc. Musical Event of the Year is an award, that for me, stands out at the CMA Awards and is rather unique. The collaborations are truly amazing and simply magnificent. I would present this award in a flash.

Jamie Foxx will be there, that's absolutely impossible to miss!

So, let's go back to our matter. If I could present any award at the 41st CMA Awards, I think I would choose the "Female Vocalist of the Year". I don't know perfectly each of the nominees, I'm very sorry, but I think this category has to be the most important of the 41st Annual CMA Awards. I just love Alison Krauss and I'm really thrilled she's on almost all the awards. That was a hard choice to decide on the award because I love this amazing singer! But if I choose the "Female Vocalist of the Year", that's because I like Carrie Underwood too. She's a beautiful singer and a great vocalist, such like Alison Krauss and certainly the three other nominees (Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride & Reba McEntire) but like I said earlier, I really prefer Alison. She's got a perfectly wonderful voice and it always get me into the extreme feelings, the best ones and I'm always excited when I come across one of her song in a TV show. This woman is so talented... I will always love her "Angel" song which is one of the most emotional song I've ever heard! Currently, I listen to "You're Just a Country Boy" and I'm not disappointed! The talent is the master word of this category and I think that'll be very hard to decide between the nominees... If I could be the presenter of this award, I'd be very glad and proud to talk to the winner, mostly if Alison will be this one!

I'd like to present male artist of the year because I'd be hoping the cowboy who won it would be wearing some nice tight jeans. Yeehaw!

I would want to give Entertainer of the Year. . . Mainly because I believe this is the biggest honor someone can receive. This award gives honors to someone who had a great year. . . album, tour, radio. . . I truly believe Keith Urban will receive this award, and I would love to be the one to give it to him. He has really come a long way this past year and over come a lot of struggles. I think when he receives this award this year, it will truly show him how proud everyone is of him.

Wow. I would definitely want to present the award for the "Musical Event of the Year."

I love Alison Krauss. I think she's an awesome artist. I love her songs, and her voice is very ethereal. My favorite is her cover of The Beatles' hit, "I Will." Many artists fail to do covers well, but she pulled it off and made the song more beautiful, which is why I have it on my cellphone's playlist. And she's getting nominated twice this year for her collaborations with Vince Gill and John Waite!

But even if she doesn't win, I will still get the chance to present the award to some of the greatest artists in Country music such as, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire. Plus, I love Kelly Clarkson and her song "Because of You." So, presenting that award would be a really amazing experience for me.

All of the awards are so very important to all of the country music singers, and I truely love them all and they work so incredibly hard through the year making all of us happy listening and enjoying to thier music. We can take an ordinary day at work and close our eyes and we will be sittin on the beach, love them all.. however since Im the kind of person that does a job for someone else I dont really get the recognition, they do.. so thats ok but I would probly give an award to all of those people to make the awards show happen. I love watching It I look forward to it every year so thank you to those peope.
