I have always been a Ferrari fan.... always a huge fan of Schumi!!! Not so keen now on Raikkinen.. he's a tad bit duller in personality then Schumi...
Although, form a racing point of view... he's great!! I used to like Alonso up until end of last season.... I've gone off him big time now!!! Although I am not a MCLaren fan... I have to say... I am really rooting for Lewis Hamiton as much as I possibly can this year!!! He's a good lad... shows lots of promise!!

Onto a funnier F1 related subject.... A few years ago .... I had a few dates with a F1 Williams Paramedic.... He was a really good looking guy, gentleman like... kind, thoughtful, fun.... took to my little son well..... They seemed to gel...
We even chatted about me joining him round Silverstone... during the race that year... well as he worked, I watched, we would meet up afterwards.... but I would have had a fairly good spot to watch race from!!! LOL!!!.... All was going well until I told him that if ever I went to his work around Oxford.... I would make sure I told them all ..... I supported the other Schumi!!! That would have gone down like a lead balloon!!! LOL!!!
Anyway.... we ended things that year..... during a phone call as he was on a break during the Monaco race... I was watching the race on TV as I was speaking to him!!!
It's really funny.... cause he used to start conversations with me like.... 'Do you know that so and so ... blah blah blah.... and I used to say... if it ain't about Michael 'God' Schumacher... you can save your breath!!!! LOL!!!
Hahahahaha!!!

BTW..... Rovers are 2 - 1 down at the moment.... I'm a bit mad at the moment.... a little tense!!! I am liable to snap at any time now!!!! LOL!!!

Hahaha Williams mechanic well done yeah i agree although i wasnt a fan of Schumi he was a great personailty and character to have on the track, for that i miss him I think i have some real hate for Alonso, he was way out of line last season with some of the things he said...
I watched the Rovers WBA game and no way did they deserve to lose 5-1, the game was much much closer than that, Rovers did themselves proud and can now focus on promotion!
What a weekend to be Welsh...Rugby triple crown and Cardiff in the FA cup Semis!
How are you with boxing, tennis or snooker (some of my other sporting interests)
Dont mean this to be offensive in anyway but my goss for a woman Simley, you have some incredible knowledge on sport! better than most men hahahahaha

Hahahahahaha.... Welcome back!!! Did you have a good sleep LOL!????? I've been to Nu Camp Stadium in Barcelona... I went there nearly two years ago with my son on a holiday to Feurteventura.... I was quoted at the beginning of our holiday... a price of something like 120 euros to take day trip in to Barcelona... also taking in stadium.... But by end of week.... I worked out that we could have got everything all in for 28 Euros a piece... that was bus there and back.... staduim trip of about three hours... it took that long to go round it.... a trip to the Zoo... that was great.... anda trip round some local Catherdral.... name escapes me at this moment!!! I thought.... Bargain!!! Excellent.... Doing well here.... we then, next day get on the bus.... ..... ...... with a pile of the ''Blue Rinse Brigade' ... there was no one else under 150 on that bus that day!!! We took the most scenic route there possible.... If I got a penny for everytime I heard the words.... ''On your left ... you will see some vines /peach tress or whatever.... seriously I would have been made up for life!!! But anyway... on a plus side... once we arrived at the stadium... we didn't need to stick with this lot... we made our own way about and joined up with them again at the end!!! Trip around stadium was amazing!!! esp... My sons trip to the players actual loos... but that's a story for another day....

I come from a family of sport enthusiasts!!! Various injuries over the years...[including a broken back, broken toe, dislocated fingers, pulled tendons... etc...etc...etc... have cut my career short ...I was quite a good ..well relatively speaking ... good Gaelic Football player, Camogie and Volleyball player when I was much younger.... I represented my county in football and made it to the Alll Ireland finals in Volleyball that year ... around 1990... Camogie... I just played in school!!! However, my two sisters were quite sporty... one used to coach her Unis Volleyball team.... and played football [Gaelic] to an All Ireland standards quite a few occasions.... my brother... was to have trials for a team here in England... seriously... I can't remember which one...] ... he was about to go when he dislocated his knee in a club training match... that more or less ended his career... he played the game so much... he wore down the cartiledge in both his knees... therefore being uselss longterm to any team!!! He was quite disappointed at the time.... but he's doing other things now.. away from sport... ... which makes him even happier!!! My grand Uncle.... used to play for West Brom... many many years ago.... He died aged 42 not long after retiring from the game!!! His nephew who now lives in Canada.... used to initially play for [ I may stand corrected here... but I'm sure I'm right]... For Crystal Palace for a brief spell.... he then transfered to Colchester United... for a while!!! He then went abroad somewhere like China or somewhere like that playing out his days....
Rugby wise... My cousin captained the Irish Rugby team during the World Cup in South Africa in 1995!!! He retired from the game a while after to persue a career as a doctor and surgeon!!! Currently, he runs his own practise in Dublin!!!
My other cousin... was ranked 8th [or higher]... in the UK Cross Country ranking for quite a while... he runs in Ireland now....

There's a few more about my family and friends... who do sporting things.... I follow sport because my parents always encouraged it in my home growing up!!! Currently, I have lost all fitness!!! I no longer do much sports... I broke my back in two places in an accident.... well freak accident more like... and always have to watch how I approach things from now on.... Gym, horse riding etc... My father was 'kids football coach' for many years... he used to go out training young kids of all ages most nights... He also trained the older football teams!!! He gave us a healthy attitude to sport... We used to also watch alot of it in my house.... Mum also loves certain sports!!!

As regards boxing... I'm not a huge fan.... I don't see the appeal in mashing someones brains in..... making them bloodied on purpose for a sport!!! Although, one of my actual primary school friend did rank quite high in Irish boxing ranks at one stage... it's an area of his life... I never really agreed with.... He's retired from it now.... that makes me happier!!!

Golf and Cricket to me.... just make me say one word.............. WHY????
Golf... Glorified walk and Cricket...... ??? Ohhh I just don't get it..... Maybe a cricket fan may explain it all to me like I am a 3year old....... LOL!!!!
Tennis.... I always have loved tennis.... can't really play it to save my life... but I love seeing a good game being played well!!! I particularly liked the old breed... Becker, Agassi, Lendl, Cash.... Narvatalova[?] Lloyd, Williams etc....etc...etc... The new lost, IMO are mostly a bit souless... they are a little too choppy at the sport... they don't argue back... there is little fun around them now.... but their tennis is good all the same!!!
Snooker..... I am a big Ronnie O'Sullivan fan.... I suppose being Irish... I should say I support Ken Doherty.... nice lad ... but there are better and more vibrant snooker players IMO! My little lad is also quite a nifty snooker player.... he likes to play it with all his friends!!! He used to watch he tournaments on TV all the time until his idol Paul Hunter passed away around Oct 06.... He has lost a bit of interest in it since!

So what do you like about these sports??? ........ that's if you are still awake... Arsenal fan???

AWESOME, nice to hear about ur trip to Barcelona and your family history in sport is incredible!
My main sporting passion is no doubt Football (ARSENAL TILL I DIE!!!) always loved the game both watching and playing; for me the beautiful game(only if u watch the Gunners, not really beautiful the way Man utd play it ) will never die! hahaha. In F1 i enjoy the high tempo excitment and the competitveness; also the fact that they go all around the world to race you learn about all different cultures. Can't wait for the night race in singapore! Boxing is just boxing; get in hit the other guy and get out without getting hit on the way, some would say that it is an art...
I 100% agree with your cricket thinking....dont understand the scoring rules at all......
