I Am Officially RETIRED From My Job!

Last Thursday was my last day at work, and Friday, I had my retirement luncheon. We went to Fulton's Crab House, at the Disney Marketplace in Downtown Disney. It used to be called the Empress Lilly years ago. It's an exact replica of a paddlewheeled steamship. It's beautiful, and the food was awesome. I went with my daughter, Kris, my boss, and several co-workers of my choosing. We had a great time, although it WAS a little sad.

I have been feeling my age the past few years, and it was just time to retire. Maybe now, I can do the things I've wanted to do, but have not been able to do because I was working.

One GOOD thing...it's SO nice to NOT have to get up at 5 am any more!

Sher, to answer your question, right now, I'm just relaxing, knowing that I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work. I'm a huge Hanson fan (yes, THAT Hanson!), and now, when they tour, I hope to actually be able to go to more than one show, now that I have the time. I could never travel to other states before, so maybe now, I can go to other states to see them. They are phenominal live! And I want to take a few vacations as well. I plan to go out to Las Vegas to see my brother and sister, who live there, and to New York City to see a few Broadway plays. (Spamalot with Clay Aiken, and Jersey Boys....I LOVE The 4 Seasons)

Now, maybe I can actually DO some of the things I've wanted to do, but work always got in the way!
