| Be confortable with yourself and confident in who you are....that's all I can really say. From my experiences, being heavier set is a good thing. There are times where I wish I could just gain weight because people seem to look down on slender women. We get called all sorts of names and accused of having an eating disorder even when we don't have one. Being called slender or skinny often connotes sickliness, unattractiveness, and a lack of feminity. And I can tell you that for a woman in today's society, there are few things that are worse than constantly being told that you are not a woman.......at least with a little extra weight, you can be consider healthy to some and still be considered a woman..... |

| I think the media has greatly distorted people's perception of reality. Where I am from, skinny people are poorly looked upon. I would give anything to gain a good 50 pounds. I think this idea is starting to gain momentum in Hollywood. If you look at tabloid covers, you see actresses in bathing suits, accused of having eating disorders even if they don't. They are told they look sickly, like corpses...they are not women....they are unfeminine...There is nothing worse, I think....Even if yu are larger, at least you can still be perceived a feminine. |

| *Sigh* I have a very distorted view of my body, while everyone tells me im too skinny, I think there is lots of improvements that I could make - lose a little more weight here and there and all the rest of it. I don't look up to anyone as I don't think anyone has my idea of a perfect body. Not Kate Moss, or any other 'super skinny' models. When I achieve my idea of perfection, which will never happen, I'll let you know lol.

| Defective design is clearly indicated. The defense will try to say that it is our fault for failing to evolve differently. |

| I think with all the media hounding all these women is absolutely insane. Not only is it affecting actresses and models etc, it's affecting teenage girls, and surprisingly some men. I don't see how a lot of people just brush it off like it's no big deal, because it most certainly is a big deal. I myself am sortakinda a big gal, hah. But, seeing all my healthy skinny buddies complain that they're too fat and all really annoys me. And saddens me. I blame it on the media, fo sho.

| Junior Member | But it can use some improvements after having five children. The boobs are all messed up and can definitely use a "lift" and I have this annoying belly pouch after having a c-section. That really sucks, but I still wear between a 4 and 6, but the belly has to go. I was watching the Tyra show yesterday and they were talking about this website that helps women raise funds for breast implants. I said Hmm.... I might have to look into that OR just get a really good bra. I think I'll end up doing that instead. |

| For me, keeping my weight under control was as simple as joining a soccer team. It's hard to gain weight when you're running around 3 times a week. Besides, I love it, so it doesn't feel like work. That "how to look good naked show" is pretty good. The confidence you have in yourself is what matters most over anything. Also, the media is ridiculous. Remember the Jennifer Love Hewitt pictures? What bothered me most about that wasn't the media, but Jennifer herself. She came out and said that she looks fine and a size 2 isn't fat... but there is NO WAY she's a 2. Why are you going to defend yourself and then lie? You're just making it worse. |
