That's great news! I also read that on tvguide online. Hope they get the agreement on paper and approved soon.

I do wish they would find a way to solve this and fast. Soon the only thing that's going to be on is Reruns, reality TV, some cable shows, The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Jericho.

I keep holding onto Jericho and The Sarah Conner Chronicles, but if they don't start the talks up soon, we're going to be without good TV or movies for awhile.

I hope the studios loose gobs and gobs of money for what they are doing. There are so many people out of work right now. I'm glad the writers are standing strong, but both groups need to get back to the negotiating tables and get some kind of FAIR accord.

In case you don't know, last week Universal used the LA Sheriff's deputies to prevent the delivery of the pencils from the fans. Clearly, the Moguls missed the point of the delivery: Viewers support the WGA! Since the Moguls wouldn't take our pencils all at once, we're going to send them in one at a time.

Here's how it goes:

1. Find a pencil somewhere in your house. It does not have to be new. Break the tip off. For our slogan (You, like these pencils, are missing the point. Viewers support the WGA.) to make sense, your pencil should not have a point, so don't sharpen it. Also the post office frowns on sending sharp objects in the mail.

2. Print this flyer. You can print it directly from google docs. Just use the print button in your browser. If you do not have printer or if you're out of ink, just hand write the message. It can be in color or grayscale...it doesn't matter.

3. Put the pencil and the flyer in an envelope, address it to:

Les Moonves
CBS
51 W 52nd St, Suite 35
New York, NY 10019-6119

4. Put first class stamp on it. (41 cents) This is for one (1) average pencil.

5. Drop it in the mail, and you are done! (Yes, you can mail more than one..and yes, you can tell your friends!)

And just for the record, we consulted the post office and they said mailing a pencil is fine, but do not sharpen it. I will be sharing this with other fandoms since there is power in numbers. Several have already consented to join us (Heros, and a host of other CBS shows.)
