Just because i don't watch it doesn't mean i don't feel for those that do. If they did that to one of my favorite shows i would be upset, so i can relate. I didn't mean me personally ...it was an analogy .

Apparently they'll air the first 8 eps in February no matter what.
The writers said episode 8 has a pretty cool cliffhanger but it's not good enough to use as a season finale.
They said it's like stopping in the middle of a Harry Potter book, after finishing one chapter. =/

Right, it so is. It's like someone bringing you a birthday present on your birthday and saying you can't open it till your next birthday.....

Yeah, exactly.

Well I'm trying to think positive now, since anything could still happen with this strike.

The studios should know that there will be many angry TV fans at their doors if they don't start cooperating. [or they'll go at the writers for striking which would be bad!]

I think I read someplace that DH has enough episodes to take us into December.

I really hope these people learn how to compromise and play well together soon.

Just read the BuddyTV post about DH... so there will be 9 episodes this year only. =/

I really hope this thing finishes soon!

affected shows list..
For reference and posterity and for the sake of interested parties who want to know whether their shows will be affected. I realise that at some put, all shows are going to be affected by the strike but we're thinking in the short to mid term ie from now until April/May.
I've gathered these names from various sources, including the WGA website. Comment with any discrepancies and/or additions to the list.
I've based this on writers going on strike, programming changes and network announcements.
