Uh...ok...my random = I went out for drinks at a bar with a co-worker after work yesterday. We were kinda enjoying ourselves (well I was enjoying myself and my drinks) and at one point she was commenting on the guys in the bar. I happened to mention that there was a guy sitting not too far from us that was cute - he had medium length black hair that was kinda wavey, he looked tall, and he was wearing this cute blazer with like a Gap T-shirt underneath and jeans. And he looked exotic, it was great, lol. But he was sitting at a table with three men and we were in the Village in Manhattan (which is known for the GLBT scene) so I also said that I thought he was gay. I didn't think anything of it but she proceeded in getting the waiter to get the guy's name and then had the waiter tell the guy to come over to our table. I thought she was just going to chat with him a bit but when he walked over to our table she pointed to me and told him, "I asked you over here because my friend likes you." I was mortified!!! Then she had the nerve to ask him if he was gay and he told her he was bi, but that he really likes women and he gave me a wink and smile when he said it (I was not amused). But I seriously was so embarrassed that she did that to me. I didn't say that I liked him...just that I thought he was cute. And I certainly didn't want to have to fake a conversation with him. He and I both were seeming a little awkward and embarrassed by the situation. Plus, none of us are teenagers. That whole "my friend likes you" crap is for kids. So that's my random and my vent combined.

Adia's random comment was kind of funny but made me feel bad. That sucks what your co worker did. I'd be mortified.

^^I was totally embarrassed, aye, if you could've seen the look on my face when she did it. And she called a lot of guys over to our table that night, hitting on them, but when she did that to me I wanted to throw my drink on her. But I'd never do that 'cause I don't believe in wasting alcohol, ya know

my random = I was on a very long timeout today and am feeling slightly calmer.
