What's funny though don't know if I am the only one who has that. Most of the things I liked a guy it started with a dream about him

Oh realy that's weird. I had it even with guys I almost didn't know. They came into my dream and then I turned crazy bout them cause I was watching them more closely.

That happens to me all the time as well except i don't dream about guys. Most of mine are just really f'ed up stuff like having the ability to control space and time....that was a fun one, or being on the Detroit Redwings Hockey team. It really sucks when that happens too. And it always happens at the worse times possible.

I had to take a basic phsych class to get into the program I wanted; anyway, the teacher said that Freud's patients were all young, female and come from sexually abusive environments...if it's true, that explains so much!

That would make so much more sense. And, to add to that...I’m currently reading a book by Margaret A. Lindauer called Devouring Frida: The Art History and Popular Celebrity of Frida Kahlo. The book is afull-length feminist analysis of Frida Kahlo and the myths surrounding her. Anyhow, there is a section in there about male psychologists (mainly Freud) and how they would consistently misdiagnose women with “sexual” problems because of an underlying chauvinism. So what I’m getting at is the fact that Freud was predisposed to watering down all women’s problems to sex because to him (and society at that time) women were either mothers or whores. Sort of like the whole Mary Magdalene / Virgin Mary dichotomy.

Ok, sorry for the whole feminist rant thing.....
