I have a hard to picturing him as a badass, I really do. He just looks so sweet and innocent, especially when he smiles.

Oh...and other funny thing that I heard...was that "true blood" was a copy of "twilight"...but true blood is also a book right? and it went out first then twilight right?
True Blood is based on a series of books and it has vampires in it, but that's about all the similiarity there is between Twilight and True Blood. True Blood is definitely meant for adults, it's dark and has a twisted sense of humour, while Twilight seems to be a teen romance thing. I haven't watched, nor have I read the books, despite them lying around here somewhere, but I will go see Twilight in the cinema, to make up my own mind. I'm not expecting it to be anythign but cheesy, but I'm hoping that the vampires are at least halfway cool. Everyone seems to go crazy about the guy who plays the male lead in Twilight, but frankly, judging from the pics he doesn't do that much for me.
Well, no vampire comes close to Angel anyway.

The movie is not that good..really..people are all crazy about it...but if you watch it with attention...you will see that there is a lot of production mistakes there...the books are mutch better =)

Is Bella a teenager in the books? I've heard she is in the movie, but I got the impression she's an adult in the books.

Yeah...she is also a teenager in the books...=)

but some of the scenes that you see in teh film are diferent from the book...i am not going to tell all....but for example...the kiss scene that appears in the movie ( the 1 kiss between bella and edward)...in the book that kiss happens in a diferent place...but thats not the problem....other thing was that I got the impression tha the movie was "rushed" do to the realesed date...

After you see the movie you letm me know what you think about it =)

Well, it's probably not possible to make an exact movie copy of the books. With the series Legend of the Seeker, based on the Sword of Truth books it's the same, things don't happen in the order they occur in the books, supporting characters are very different from what they are in the books, etc. But as long as the general atmosphere gets translated onto film that's ok, imo.

So vampire boy really goes to highschool? How old is Edward supposed to be? A 16 year old vampire? That's not impressive.

Wow. That is the same thing as if I would work in a chocolate store!
So probably Dad is the one who brings dinner home?

Well...this might disapoint you...they ( and by this I mean the "cullen´s"...edward´s family) don´t heat humans...instead of that...they all go out to hunt animals in the forest...they are like "vegetarian vampires" LOOloool
But then...in the movie....3 other vampires show up....and those heat humans...xD

How many years ago? If he was turned, say, 50 years ago, that would make him 67 - what is he doing at high school at that age? Is he a very slow learner?

Nah, that doesn't disappoint me, of course the vamp who falls in love with the human girl is vegetarian. Wouldn't work any other way. But I'm willing to bet that there comes the point, if not in the first movie/book then in the other 2, where he will have to drink from her in order to save his own life. Buffy did it, Moonlight did it, and True Blood did it. It's a classical vamp story thing, and I love it. It's a great tool to strengthen the human - vamp bond. The vamp is always the stronger one, but when he is in mortal peril only to be saved by human blood it's the one moment the human is in control.

Yep, non vegetarian vampires are also needed in those kind of stories.
