| True Blood is based on the serie The Southern Vampire by Charlaine Harris.... wonderful books!!..and the serie is so far one of the best series based on books!!!.. its not 100% accurate but its ok, the tv serie make sense and its fun to watch... |

| The books are called The Southern Vampire and the series is called True Blood. The TV show is based on the books. smiley, are you into fantasy, plain LotR fantasy with no frills or unnnecessary light sabers or anything attached? Because speaking of a TV show based on books, I have found and grown to love a TV show called Legend of the Seeker, that is based on a series of books called Sword of Truth, and I think AJ would really like it. Here's the link to the first ep (you know, click on the number), although I have to say the first two eps didn't convince me, but by the 3rd ep I fell in love with the show.

| I agree. The humor is one thing that really sticks out. I don't think the lead looks that young, however. He kind of reminds me of Orlando Bloom for some reason. Have you noticed the similarity?

As much as I liked the general flow of character play in LOTR's... I really could never take to Orlando Bloom in that!!! He isn't a bad actor... just in that... just didn't get the whole point of him!!!
