Survivor 17, or Survivor: Gabon, or Survivor: Gabon, Earth's Last Eden, whatever you feel like calling it, has encountered some problems in pre-production, according to super-host Jeff Probst.  The West African nation of Gabon is one of the more remote and difficult locations in Survivor's history, according to Probst.  Animals, a fallen crane, and a long shipping delay are severely affecting the show's production.  Though Probst assures the media that Survivor: Gabon will go off as planned (filming is slated to begin later this month), the pre-production hiccups will likely hit the crew the hardest – the crew's quarters have not yet been built, which means everyone will be living in tents, for now.

I think it's obvious where the missing crate of food went. If there's one thing i know about hippos, it's that they're often hungry, hungry.

Hippos are definitely awesome. And I'm so psyched that they're going to a different part of Africa - at least it's not another south pacific tropical island like always!

That hippos (top 20) comment made me laugh out loud. Little known fact about me: I am a Hungry, Hungry Hippos champion. That and Connect Four. Well, in 5th grade I was but I'm convinced I still have the skills. As for Survivor, I'm so looking forward to this season. It sounds intense!
