I should have seen it coming. In a season packed with more blindsides than Survivor has ever seen, even the finale was a shocker. From the beginning, Amanda was a frontrunner. She had played a decent game last season in China, but rode Todd’s coattails throughout much of the season. After finishing as runner up, she headed right back out to compete in Micronesia. After Ozzy’s blindside, Amanda kicked her strategy into high gear, playing a very physical and aggressive game. Even as James said at the final tribal council, Amanda had the game in the bag. Last night, though, viewers were shocked as, once again, Amanda finished second while Parvati was named the winner of Survivor: Micronesia.

It's not that Amanda didnt play a clean game it's the fact that she just went with the flow never making her own decisions. Also Gina, James did not vote for Parvati it was Alexis who voted for her, we even saw the vote. Although hands down Amanda was more popular with viewers the fact is that Parvati played a better game, and in the tradition of Survivor people who play better tend to win more often, simple as that

James didn't vote for Parvati, he voted for Amanda.

I think Amanda was robbed. Parv didn't make decisions either - she went with the flow too!!!! Most of the "blindsides" were orchestrated by that "B" Natalie. I don't think Parv played a better game at all. I think Amanda was robbed.

Technically purpleodd, the player that plays the best game doesn't always win.

Cirie played the best game this season so technically she should have won going by your thoughts

Parv played a better game hands down. She's the reason the female alliance was formed in the first place, and secured her place as Amanda's partner voting Ozzy out, and she would do the same with James if he was still there. Amanda played a great game too, but this time strategy and social won against physical abilities and loyalty.

This always happens on survivor though. In 16 seasons the deserving person in the final 2/3 rarely wins. Richard Hatch, Tom Westman, Todd Gaydude... Were the only people that deserved their wins. Rob Mariano got screwed by Amber, Ozzy screwed by Yul, Yau Man didn't make it to the final 3, but if he did, Earl wouldn't have won, Terry Deitz won like 57 challenges and then lost the last one and ARAS easily beat Danielle D in the end. (most garbage season ending there is) Then there was Stephanie's HUGE battle through the entire game with a target on her back (since it was her second survivor) to make the final 2 and get owned by Danielle.... Basically in Survivor, the jury votes out of jealousy. In Big Brother they USUALLY vote for who deserves it the most. This is why Survivor always annoys me.

Oh man, the fact that Steph didn't win in her season is MADNESS. I'm still angry about that. Way to get my blood boiling...
