On tonight's episode of Survivor: China, the tribe members participated in a schoolyard pick to determine teams for the immunity challenge and one person was left out.  There was talk of disloyalty, jumping from one alliance to another, and blindsiding one player.  An unexpected person won immunity and most people thought they were safe at tonight's tribal council.

Jean Robert spent most of the episode in the dark about what's been going on in the game.  He had no idea about the idol and decided he needed to find one of his own.  At one point, he got up in the middle of the night and started grabbing things around camp that might be an idol.  By the time he realized that James had two idols, he was the last to know and still didn't realize it!

I hope I don't offend James' fans (believe me, I am one of them), but Todd and the rest of the dirty dozen screwed up royally when they didn't blind-side him when they had a chance. You can be sure that James will be taking both immunity idols with him to every tribal council from here on out.

Agreed. If they were going to get rid of anyone from their original tribe before the other tribe was gone, it should have been James. I know Jean-Robert is annoying, but you should be able to put up with that for a lil while longer for the money.

Wish you'd said more about tribal council. I thought it was one of the funniest yet (looks on James and JR's faces, James teasing Erik, Jeff laughing, etc). Looked to me like Erik has been doing way more thinking than anyone has given him credit for; funny how Denise can play under the radar and win the sympathy vote, but if a guy like Erik (who's not loud or controversial and happened to be from the losing Zhan Hu tribe) plays the same strategy, he comes off looking as not interesting. I guess I tend to believe these kinds of players are smarter; they just don't get the best edits.
