Tonight on Survivor, tribe members hunted for the immunity idol.  They learned the hard way that the game never stops.  Two tribes became one and Jeff announced a merge.  Karma comes back to cut one survivor's game short.

Jaime realizes that something is not right when wood pieces from the structure at camp are lying on the ground.  Feeling that one is an idol, she takes it and keeps it with her.  At night, when James goes frog hunting, she reaches into his bag and feels a similarly shaped item in his bag.  She knows that he is in possession of an idol and doesn't want to take any chances.

I think I got irrationally upset at Jamie looking through James's things. So many people I know have lost everything and were in shelters this past week. Not one of them would ever think of looking at someone's personal belongings. Game or real life, a person's true values comes out in times of stress. Jamie would not be welcome in any shelter I was in.

Also, include Eric in this. The wussey just laid by while she did this.

I could not believe that Jaimie thought that James would be faithful to THEM! If they had lost another challenge, they had made it clear that James would be voted out! I also agree about looking in other peoples things. They have so little privacy and so few belongings. There should be some kind of unwritten "code of conduct" that you don't dig thru people's belongings. I also agree with Eric being a wussey! He should have turned on those to girls the moment they thru the challenge and didn't even include him in on the plan.

"At tribal council, Jaime tries to play what she thinks is the idol but Jeff shoots her down and throws it into the first. " < -- I think you meant fire there, not first.

And glad to see Jaime go, too bad she made the jury though. And since when is the first person to get voted off after the merge is on the jury? Sometimes they merged and the first person to get voted off didn't get on the jury.

Her playing the 'idol' was a highlight, especially the reaction shots of James trying hard not to crack up at first because he knew it wasn't the real thing.

Well... This happens every season. Todd is going to mess things up for his alliance by creating waves with his suggestion to back-door James. Even though they probably will not go through with it next week, he's put a target on his back with such premature scheming.
