What the What Now?!!!!

Smiley, is this a situation where the term "gutted" would fit? Is that a good term for crushed? Heartbroken? Disappointed? Because it's obviously their Jimmy Punk Out Point. I thought they were so amazing and cool to keep Jimmy in the first place when they had the perfect chance to get rid of him. I thought that meant something. I thought it meant they were super cool and brave enough to incorporate such a fascinating element to the show. If that spoiler was right, then I was wrong. I hope they at least acknowledge his passing. At least show some sort of regret and/or sadness. Let us know that Cas or someone has given his condolences to the family. They could, at the very least, not sweep his death under the rug.

Hahahaha... he'll be a character that's in great company with Jensen Ackles 'Jason Teague' character from Smallville.... he died about twice in the show.... got shot, fell off a cliff into choppy waters... then somehow then rose up only to die once again by being squashed to death under a big meteor in the Kent's living room.... right there in middle of floor... never a word was said on the guy again.... there's a floor rug, big enough to sweep the story of Jimmy under!!!

What more could one do with Jimmy's story, should Castiel be there or not? The main points of how he has got to where he is right now have been addressed in a sense.... life was not a happy one.... or at least not as idealistic as made out...
What would you do with him?

I know, I'm the only fan in existence who cares that much about Jimmy. Can't help it.

Would the story of Jimmy still interest some, I dunno... maybe.... at times I think it wouldn't at all interest me cause it was left at a good point too story wise, depending on how you look at it.... although, certain aspects of Jimmy's back story might appeal to some....

Smiley, glad to hear the kid has recovered from the Cas shock & trauma! Sounds like it was a close one there for a while.

Hahahahahahaha....he's sadly had his head stuck firmly deep in a basin all day... not well at all and didn't actually appreciate my attempt at humour earlier today.... 'in very poor taste' I think he referred to it as..... He takes all things Supernatural very seriously at times....

He did say though, that as much as he loves and idolises the ground Master Kripke walks on regarding this show, as he is still getting over the deaths of both Sandra Mc Coy's CRD & Gen C's Ruby....(he fancies both those two!!! ) he's not looking forward to seeing less of Castiel at all.... he might have more to say about it should this ever happen, God knows he does enough moaning about things like this....

The ep 'Roadkill' or whatever is on TV here tonight really late ish.... about 11pm.... one about haunted lass on the road.... this is what I love about the show.... knowing that at this point, although I have watched the ep at least twice.... I am still up for watching it once again tonight and no doubt, Mini Me will too, if he up again with me like he was last night.... otherwise he'll be watching it in bed again tomorrow morning!!!

I don't know about all this sympathy stuff! Is he, ultimately, the source of evil or not?! Did he allow/cause demons to be made and to serve him or not?! That's the bottom line for me. I won't have much sympathy for him if these things are the truth. Can't wait to see how they're going to tell his tale.

The big lifelong Catholic streak running in my veins is wrestling big time with this whole notion that Lucifer is coming across as vulnerable or almost misunderstood... etc.... From day one, anyone with even the slightest hint of a religious background to them, regardless of most religions... regard Lucifer as the most evil being ever.... the eviliest of them all.... we are not primed to ever believe that this devil like being ever had or even has a soft side.... so in this respect, I am very eager to see how this is covered....

For the record though, I wasn't ever one of those who believed that all angels were good.... growing up I defied many a catholic priest by stating the obvious 'if one rebelled and fell...there must have been more '... went down a treat once word of my badness reached inside the walls of my family home!!!

But in the case of Lucifer, the Devil, Hades, Abbadon, Satan, Belial, iblis, Kroni, Beelzebub..... etc.... etc.... or whichever of the many names he is referred to, that the last 30 years of blind teaching has instilled in me, it will have to take a damn good story to make me move from that mindset.... If Kripke etc... at SPN haven't had many religious people moaning about storylines to this point.... bring the Devil in and they'll certainly all start crawling out of the woodwork....

Oh I am sooooooooooooo excited about this coming season.....
Months left to go til D Day...... the wait is cruel.....

Ok... I'm off again... Mini Me is once again doing his best Exorcist impression to date.... it's neverending tonight... It's really remarkable how even when he hasn't been within a mile of a pea or a tiniest bit of carrot in about a week and still a yuchy mix of both with the odd bit of sweetcorn thrown in for good measure...is all I seem to be looking at since yesterday evening... now that's a true mystery... somebody should really do a special Doc on that one.... every kid must store them all up in a special inner pouch for ages, much like a camel stores water just for these Exorcist occasions.... When you guys are parents, you'll appreciate that one more, when your kids too start doing it without prompt.... you'll remember my words.... and will regret the day ye didn't all campaign more for that investigative Documentary....

Sorry... I'm stir crazy now.... can't take any more kids TV today....

I did watch a great Doc earlier on today on the late great Bruce Lee.... 36 years passed away yesterday... amazing guy.... always a big fan of his whole outlook on life and his arts etc.... want to spend the entire evening rewatching all his movies again.... truly inspiring!!! RIP!

Lucifer is the one that got screwed over by god, so the notion that he's the one to have sympathy for is not unwarranted. I just hope he's not depressed and whiney. He has to be a "criminal mastermind" and a merciless bad boy. Yes, he created demons and has done bad things, but that's ultimately god's fault. God played and manipulated and used Lucifer for his entertainment just the same as he does with humans. Cookie, I thought the 2 of us agreed on that?

About the whole resurrecting Castiel and Anna got her original body back thing: Cookie, Anna and Castiel's situation are not the same. Anna was born in that human body, IT IS NOT A VESSEL.

I agree with smiley that Jimmy's story is pretty much over. I'd still prefer Castiel to not die and be ressurrected by whomever, because then it would have to be explained why he still looked like Jimmy, although it then could be said that Jimmy finally got his heavenly reward and the body is in Castiel's possession now, like Anna's is in hers. Or something. Thank god I'm not a writer for the show. I think too much!

Whatever God did or didn't do, though, Lucifer made his own choices. I'm pretty sure no one is going to try to say God or anyone else forced Lucifer to create such nasty beings as demons! These creatures which do such horrible, inexcusable things; and, at least some, in his name! And how can Lucifer justify doing that, huh? How can any spin be put on the purely evil crap that demons do to make it acceptable/understandable? As long as that's the case, I can't, ultimately, have much sympathy for the angel! I can sympathize with his original situation, but not with the choices HE made afterward.

As for Cas and Anna's vessel differences, I don't see how it matters. Bottom line, if Jimmy's body dies, it dies. (Ha! I accidentally sort of quoted Ivan Drago! Mmm. Ivan Drago. Huh? Where am I? Oh, yeah. . . ) Anna's body is a replica of the one that was destroyed. Why on earth couldn't Cas get a replica of Jimmy's body?
