I agree. You said it all smiley *thumb up*
On the other side Cal, I don't know how you can even doubt. I stopped with thinking ahead some time before. I do believe writers and they haven't disappointed me so far ... You know that Eric isn't like one of those who would write something only to please fans (althought I thank u very much for Castiel and whorehouse ), they're making it the way they thinkg it's the best, no matter who will bitch about it ... There ae always fans who complain, but it's good they take it the way it is and do their job well ....
I'd think you don't doubt about our writers anymore .... :P

Yes, helps, you are so right to scold me. I have strayed from the Faithful Path, and I need to be punished and seek forgiveness!

Everything needed was so nicely put there, smiley, thank you . I have had my moments of distrust every once in a while, but since all those moments have been proved to be wrong and he had been proved to be worth of my trust - I don't doubt anymore .

And what becomes to the next big baddie - well, ain't there always rumours about older and more powerful forces, comparable to even Lucifer. Every time people raise that question up I start to think about the Spawn and the story of Urizen, the old and dark and powerful god.

Not a bad idea, having an actual god as Big Bad. Or even have the Christian god turn out to be bad an the villian for S6. Oh yes, there are so many possibilites to even top Lucifer, I see it now!
Forgive me my weak moments, my friends! I'm back on track again!

Good, Calena, good . See - I really don't think we have to worry about Kripke's master mind to think up some huge and convincing thread to the season 6 if there ever gonna be season six (which I am soooo hoping for).

Default Nice Ramble, Smiley!

Wow, smiley, what an awesome, well-thought-out post! I can't respond to ALL of that, so some points:

Oh my GOD, you actually said "Independence Day" instead of "Fourth of July!" I love you!!! Most people call it "Fourth of July," like that's the NAME of the holiday! Even professional people, TV announcers and such, call it that! It's freakin' INDEPENDENCE DAY! Fourth of July is the DATE the holiday is observed!!!! That always irks me! Yes, I'm anal! Lol

Yeah, I so hope they don't shove monster hunts too far to the side. Those are what got me into the show and what I'd still be satisfied with if it went back to; even if no one else would (helps said she would, too, at least). I want vampires back so badly! In particular, I wish Lenore and her clan would show back up. Maybe they can take our side in this apocalypse thing. Oh, wouldn't that be interesting? And I'm thinking the Trickster is on our side, too; I mean, why else was he meddling in Sammy's business and trying to teach him something?! That was such a random thing for him to do! If he'd wanted just revenge on them, he'd have killed them both. Yet, surprise! He was teaching Sammy a lesson. Why? I think he's one of ours. I'd love to see Lenore and clan following Sammy, you know, trusting him, etc. after what he did with them. Lenore was cool; I loved that episode. They have cool vamps on this show. I wish Luther didn't have to die; he was hot. But he did.

Smiley, we'll have to do more than that to get John back, I think! It's time for some real action! Are you up for kidnapping? I think we're going to have to get serious, here.

And I agree, Eric and co. will do fine with the show. I think it should go at least 7 seasons. Like I said in the other thread, Misha kids about being responsible for the ratings going up, but I honestly believe it is mostly due to him. And wasn't it cute seeing him letting the interviewer know he was just kidding; realizing he may not "know" him like we do and not automatically realize that? Ha!

Default Killer Leprechaun's to join cast of SPN....

And what about Ash??? There is still some hope there that the mulleted one is still amongst the living.... Surely if Ellen is due to make a comeback, maybe since we last saw her, she ran into an Ash, who was hiding away from imminent danger at the time... Master Kripke... Are you taking all this in? We are giving you the way out here... the ideas to bring these wonderful characters back... cause we love them and so miss them dearly!!! I wasn't so keen on Jo, tbh as I was on other characters, however... if she could come back as an extra pair of hands on the side of good, then I wouldn't say no to it....

Kidnap the daddy.... Ohhhhh I am soooooooooo up for that one.... well I would be if I thought the man would be safe in my care....

And lets see, who else... down the years have we forgotten about... how about that young lass who was tied to the tree next to Dean in the Orchard in that Scarecrow ep? She looked like she could kick some ass.... ok, she didn't... but she could be one of those nameless ones that join the fight on the side of good, and are always the first to die.... we need a few there with the boys who are just there to be the first to fall.... suicide demon busters, if you like....

They could always resurrect the Benders.... Oh Please God, for all that is good... please bring back sexy Jared Bender.... and Missy Bender, well laugh as we might, but doesn't she have just the strongest aim when yielding a flying pan or plank etc.... they could do worse then try and get that lass on their side.... The Benders also eat the remains of the fallen, so they could in theory keep war ground clean and bone fragment and blood splatterclutter to a minimum... see a win win all round!!!!

And how about the random hunters dotted about the states? Bring in a few more of them, give them a few beers , mix them up with Bobby who is so set in his ways... and you have your very own army right there.... Soon, if we keep adding to our possibly people to be called upon in the 'Winchester's hour of need' list... you might find there may be little or no use for the Angel in the rain mac at all.... LOL....

BTW.... I have always referred to the 4th of July as Independance Day.... and not 4th Of July... saying it's the 4th Of July belittles your day, makes it less significant for those who celebrate it.... Americans acheived alot on that date in history and you should all refer to it properly... imo!!!

Slightly more on this subject, but here in UK, as a teacher of young kids I am appalled by these countries general lack of enthusiasm for it's National Days... It's like they are ashamed to be proud of who they are as nations... take the English, for example.... most of them, would run a mile rather then wear a simple rose in their lapel on St. George's Day in April... the Welsh, ok, their emblems are leek and daffodils... so in fairness they are a bit either more smelly or weirder to wear, however at least some of them still make the effort by having some traditional foods like welsh cakes etc... around on the day... and the Scots, well St. Andrew's Day in November for most there seems to come and go too.... ok, wearing of the thistle, which is essentially a prickly thorny weed... may be a bit tricky but at least some of them do take themselves down to the pub on the day... but we Irish, for the record of the four is the only one who has a bank holiday or a day off school/work to celebrate the occasion! As notorious as we are for drinking, it's the kids who still mainly man the parades each year and the headteachers of each school put a hell of a lot of effort into preparing dances called 'Feis Ceoil ' ... which roughly transleted means 'Music & Dancing competitions'... Yet here in the UK, more specifically England that has been my home happily now since 1995... their special National day comes and goes... it's sad really, but it's true.... So in respect to you, EC and all the Americans who frequent these boards, your day should be always referred to as Independance Day... be proud of it... not ashamed!!!

I still reckon my Killer Leprechaun angle is a good one.... ROFL....

Thumbs up

Amen, smiley! Wow, you're more patriotic about Independence Day than most Americans! That little speech should be published! "Fourth of July." Pffft. How idiotic is that?! It DOES belittle the holiday! It'll probably end up just being called "Fireworks Day" in the near future! "Mommy, why do we shoot off fireworks on Fireworks day?" Mom: "Umm. . . I don't know, really. Something about America? *shrug*"

LOL... You laugh, but seriously... If you ever get around to meeting my ten year old Mini Me, then you are in for a treat if you want to talk American History.... You'd want to have been a fly on the wall when he went thru his random historical lists phase, all random lists of example, the names and order of all US Presidents to date... or the list of all 55 + names on your Declaration Of Independance, which was signed on the 4th of July, 17 hundred and something... also the whole point of why you Americans celebrate the day as it was the day that the Declaration is widely said to have got passed through Congress I believe... or rather the specific wording of it...

Not so many Americans know though, that that wasn't actually the correct date, it was actually sometime this month, in mid august... as those who were to sign the Declaration all didn't fully sign it til then thus making it actually invalid til the last signature!!!

I know this cause I have already gone through this lecture with my son, who co-incidentally had this really weird obsession with Benjamin Franklin for a while too... God only knows why... He also went through a phase of memorising the wording of the Declaration... something about 'persuit of life and happiness' comes to mind, but little else cause God forgive me... I sort of fell asleep at that stage....

It doesn't as such make me patriotic, just interested in history of the world...
Besides, it's truly hard not to when Mini Me is such a nerd for historical things.... seriously he is already planning out the trips to museums and castles etc... once we are in Prague and Vienna over this coming week... gone are the days when I could sit on a beach somewhere catching some rays...
