| Oh trust me, as a poet myself, there is nothing more nerve wracking then reading bits and pieces of your soul to people you actually know, let alone complete strangers! I agree, it was very sweet, and obviously some part of the poet wants a family. That took a great bit of courage to read that. An actor is used to being scrutinized...used to being put on display, especially for having the talent to become another person entirely. But you can't write poetry as another person, because true poetry comes from the heart, and is therefore bound to have aspects of the poets heart shine through the words on the page. This is probably why he was nervous to read it. |

| Yes to all of that. He handled it well, though. Seemed a "Don't think, just do it" sort of thing. |

| Senior Member | Hi GA ^^ hope you still have a faith in us, althought we're kind of misled bunch I pretty much agree with what you said. When I write something myself (more like some story then a poem), I'm nervous about anyone seeing it. In fact, I don't put it on public at all. I can imagine that it was kind of shockin' question for him and he didn't feel comfortable with it, but he really managed it well. Cookie isn't that another reason why he's a mandroid? No one is that awesome right, lol

I keep kidding about this mandroid stuff, but, really, I've never even heard of anyone like Misha! Of course, I'm a hermit. There could be someone like him down the road, for all I know! I seriously doubt it, though! He's so awesome it's irritating! ![]()

| Senior Member | It is irritating!!!! lol Doesn't he realize how miserable we have to feel comparing to him? How lame and pathetic he makes us with all his beauty, silliness, ingenuity, practicalness.... That's nearly unbearable, really. I doubt there's another awesome person like he is. That's not really funny anymore. Seriously ^_^ he's so great, i can't believe that he was kind of overlooked in the past. he really is so talented actor, not to mention entertainer and great person

He was overlooked in the past because he's very special and it took a group of other very special people (Supernatural fans) to point him out. Normal people just aren't as sharp as we are. It's as simple as that. ![]()

| Actually, I confess, I DO remember him from "24." When I heard he'd been on it, I didn't remember him (I don't/didn't watch the show. I started to in S1, but then missed some eps. & got lost & frustrated, so I quit. But I had watched long enough to see Misha!). Later, I saw some clips and was like, "Ohhhh, yeah! THAT was Misha?! OK, I definitely DO remember him, then!" Misha's a good chamelion! Actually kind of works against him in the being memorable department, I guess. Can't keep a solid memory hold of him, as he's kept flitting from show to show, looking different pretty much each time. Supernatural is the first show that's gotten him to stand still, so to speak; give our memories a chance to lock on! *sigh* Thanks, Supernatural, you're a pal! |
