Sam's Dead Girlfriend Returns on 'Supernatural'

Just wanted to repost this from the main site because it's interesting ..hmmmm

Very interesting news from EW's Michael Ausiello. It turns out next season Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki will return to Supernatural as Jessica, Sam's girlfriend who was killed by Azazel in the Pilot.

Exactly how or why Palicki will return is still anybody's guess. Is this just another one of Sam's visions or memories he's had of her before? Another dream sequence like in "What Is and What Never Should Be"? Or is this something else entirely? Given the major revelation's about Azazel's intentions during the Supernatural season 4 finale, it makes Jessica's death even more suspicious. Was she killed simply in order to put Sam back on the path to hunt demons, use his psychic powers and kill Lilith to free Lucifer?

If so, Jessica's death was even more important than it first seemed, and perhaps there was more to her character than we first thought. Maybe she wasn't so clueless about demons and the Winchester legacy.

LMAO..... Oh no.... that's all I need ..... My Mini Me will start a campaign on the back of it to also bring back Sandra's CRD and Ruby once again..... if Kripke starts bringing back the dead ladies at all....

I hope it's an A/U, dream, hallucination, ghost, etc. situation. "What's dead should stay dead!" (Unless it's John Winchester; and even then, I'd prefer to see him in flashbacks or in heaven or something.)

I'm interested to see how Jess comes back. It could be handled well or poorly. I don't want her shoved into an episode just to have her back because she was Jess, it needs to make sense. That said, though, I am really happy to see Sam have a chance to interact with Jess again in some capacity.

Have you guys heard that they also recast Meg? Season 5 of Supernatural - SPN Recycled. They should have just found a way for Meg to possess Sam despite the protective tatoo, because Jared was so great at acting that.

Now this is why I truly love this show.... cause in these days of living in such a throwaway society... it's so good to see a guy as brilliant as Kripke be so keen on recycling.... The Impala should just have it's own big recycling green bin stuck to it just to throw out all the recycled stuff again and again..... For the record here, I am all in favour of all this recycling of characters..... 99% of all those characters who have so far been thru SPN, I would welcome back with open arms .... whatever the storyline!!!!

There are truly endless possibilities here about how they could reintroduce Jess to the story.... maybe a back story to do with hunting like the young Mary Winchester, maybe she was specifically a demon used to propel Sam to a certain stage, keeping him away from any other woman, must the same as that wench Ruby has been doing for the entire S4..... Maybe she is totally innocent and is just back as an angel type being.... maybe a dream.... maybe a nightmare.... the list is endless.....

As for Meg character.... the actress who played her was also superb!!! That was a character who got killed off in the show way too soon..... she could also get rehashed as another demon.... anything is possible with this show....

Know what? I may be all alone in this, but I never went all hog-wild over Meg! She was fine. *shrug* But I was never Meg-crazy like, seemingly, everyone else! I didn't care that she got killed off, really! I'm OK with her coming back but, in a way, I'd rather she didn't, because it makes the Winchesters look ineffective! What's the point in all their demon-ridding if they can just come back? Also, the show told us that it's super, super difficult to ever get out of hell, yet she has managed it twice already and is going to pull it off a third time?! *Sigh* They'd better have a damned good explanation. And Sammy had better kill her.

And another thing that's bothering me: It seems like almost everyone's coming back but the number one person I (and a LOT of others) want back . . . JOHN!! Of course, I'm hoping he will come back. I'm guessing and hoping that, if they were to pull that off, they'd keep it WELL under wraps and spring it upon us as a giant, shocking, happy surprise! It really would be best that way, in my opinion. To truly have no idea he's going to show up again until an ep. is coming on and, all casually, we see "Guest Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan" float onto the screen! America would echo with gasps, shrieks, shouts, squeals and thuds!
