| Oh well, we all knew it would happen ![]() "Lucifer Rising" THE BATTLE BEWTEEN HEAVEN AND HELL BEGINS -- The apocalypse is coming, and Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) prepare for the fight in very different ways. Sam joins Ruby (Genevieve Cortese) on a final run to kill Lilith (guest star Katherine Boecher), while Castiel (Misha Collins) and Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) tell Dean it’s time to play his part in stopping Lucifer. | Ok so here is my question ...If Lucifer rising is almost inevitable and the Angels are telling Dean, Man Up buddy, it's time....why is Sam going on worried about Lillith? It's happening either way .Shouldn't he by Dean's side ? I no longer stand by the comments that he is sacrificing himself for the larger picture. ETA to further my point I have also heard a spoiler/speculation regarding Lilith being the last of the 66 seals...Seems Sam would wanna stay as far away from her as possible maybe even protect her from harm ..not try to kill her Quote:

| I think it all makes sense. I mean Lilith being the last seal. I also hope that Ruby is in on all that and turns out she was using Sam all along for her own thing. I also think it is very possible that if Lucifer is not a monster type guy (and when are they ever on the show) than he will need a body to posses like everyone else on the show and who is a better (looking) choice than our Sammy? This of course will be really awkward fro Dean to then kill his brother...HOWEVER...if Lucifer went and possesses the Dean than with Sammies great abilities he would have a real chance of killing Lucifer for good (like Alistair) and actually save the Dean meatsuit. |

| No I disagree, it's absolute foolishness to think he can kill Lucifer. It's not some demon he's THE FREAKING DEMON . Not to mention the fact that Sam had a good pint of his blood drained last episode. We all know he's gonna be locked in the panic room at some point , so unless he drinks Ruby's blood like Gatorade the next few episodes how can he think he is prepared for this . Look how long it took him to get strong enough to get Alistair. This whole thing reminds me of the song' Anything you can do I can do better' ..Dean beaks the first seal , well Oh yeah Sam breaks the last. Dean has to kill Lucifer according to profits and Angels , Oh yeah , Sam is gonna be Lucifer because I don't believe for a second Lucifer would possess Dean and if that was the case why would Cas take sam on a spiritual journey to try and correct the error of his ways if indeed it's his power they needed all along. ....it's just madness. This came from Kristen @ EOnline so take it as you will she has known to get her facts askew Quote:

| I am sure both Anna and Ruby will go - like all the girls before them. Hm, that "looming presence" idea sounds pretty good So season 5 they both will be hunting Lucifer then you think? |

| I dunno I think at the end of the season Dean and Sam's relationship with each other is still going to be up in the air ...big cliffhanger. They say (those that are in the know ) that the last three eps can be summed up as Dean vs. Sam. So I guess that all depends on how long it takes them to get their head out of their asses and get over the past and move on better and stronger than ever before, becasue for me Luicfer will win for sure unless they get together to fight the good fight like the good old days. The best thing Lucifer has on his side is the fact that he has managed to seperate them and strain their relationship ....lets face it two Winchester heads are better than one.

| Yes indeed folks.... I know it's been a while BUT..... it's that time again...... It's time for........ 'Really stupid question coming from Smiley' time again!!!! Ok.... Sam, we know is all into drinking demon blood of late.... why is he not just draining blood out of every single other demon he and Ruby are knocking the demons out of week in week out? Why is Ruby so special? Why Ruby? Why not any old demon.... ??? He had Alastair there in his grip a while back.... why didn't he drain some juice there??? hmmmm.... What is it with that lass in particular.... ??? Just wondering.....

| Member | I'm jumping in with both feet, not really reading much other then thread title "Lucifer Rising" ![]() ![]() ![]() So, I'm not sure if I've stated my two cents before here, or on the CW forum, lol. Anyway, my general take on this title is that we're in for a surprise. What does everyone think about there NOT being a Lucifer? *hides from pitchforks and angry mobs* *waits for mobs to pass* *comes out* Whew, out, now that I've stated it I shall continue. My basic idea is this. Lazarus was Dean. It was a code or stand in for Dean's name to sorta tie it to the idea of Lazarus rising from the dead (duh, get to the point, I know). What if "Lucifer" is a stand in for Sam? As Chuck would say, great "literary symmetry"...or something like that, anyway. Any thoughts, comments, ponderances on that conception of the title? I'm not saying Sam will go dark or be evil, just that from the episode standpoint he will take on a more menacing quality. Be juxtapose to Dean.

| Sarah, we have not talked much on here before I don't think but I am liking the way you are thinking As before said if Luci was a looming presence that surely would make him sort of equal to God and his "looming presence" in the world but I doubt they make him that powerful.... don't know..I see Luci as the Anti-Winchester type constantly unleashing hell on earth and the Winchesters have to clean up behind him ...kinda like they do now anyways. I am really not sure where this is all going in order to make a 5th season out of the plot.... |
