Jensen Ackles Leaving Supernatural

I was searching on google for spoilers about episode 3.16 and I came across this website,

where it states that Jensen Ackles is not going to appear in season 4 and that he is going to be replaced. People PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISN"T REAL!!! THIS HAS TO BE SOME SORT OF SICK JOKE... RIGHT????? If Jensen leaves everything is going to be so screwed up... Supernatural will never be the same... THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you be so sure? Where did you hear that he was joking? I see that it says hes leaving but I can't find where it says hes joking? Sorry I'm just freaking and I really want to see it for myself thanks!

i hope Jensen isn`t leaving supernatural, it will not be the same without him, Jensen is the one who makes the show what it is and i think if he does leave the show will lose alot of viewers

- Yes, Jensen wanted to focus on movies, and he wouldn't give me the 25 percent salary kickback I demanded, so he's leaving the series. Chad Michael Murray is joining the cast to replace him, and next year will be like that season on Dukes of Hazzard where it was Vance and Coy instead of Bo and Luke. Everything's gonna be a little bit off, but it'll be good...I think you'll like it.

I don't think you need to worry.

Jensen did an interview after the writer’s strike and said that after they filmed the 4 remaining episodes of season 3, the show would launch directly into taping season 4 since they had already been picked up by the network and he expressed looking forward to the 4th season.

Also, Kripke stated in another interview only 1 cast member wouldn’t be returning in S4, that being Lauren Cohan.

The problem with interview transcripts is that it's hard to set the tone, so it's easy for readers to misinterpret the context.

Well, I have just finished watching the final episode and I am more sure than ever that Jensen will not leave this show. Dean's story is far from over.
