Castiel's Handprint

I just re-watched Lazuras Rising, I could swear when Dean checks his Handprint from Castiel in the mirror. That it's on his left shoulder, but throught the whole of the rest of the season it's on his right shoulder. Is this a plot-hole, or am I seeing it wrong?

I just now watched the clip of him looking at it and it's his right in that clip, anyway. I hope he has that for the rest of his life. I don't even know why, exactly. He just should.

I couldn't find handprint pics from later eps. If it changed sides I never noticed.
Maybe he has it on both sides? Or is Castiel strong enough to rip him from perdition with only one hand?

I agree, Dean should have this handprint forever!

Having two would make sense; I guess grabbing someone and yanking them out of hell would be a two-handed job. And so his handprint(s?) tells us that, whatever unvesselled angels look like, they have human-like hands, anyway. And, uh, angels are really hot? Or was hell's heat just so intense it heated Cas's hands big time? Or is Dean allergic to Cas like Misha suggested? Angel allergy. Cool.

I guess them showing Dean only having a look at one of the prints had me thinking there was just one. I'm not observant enough to have noticed there were two!

Please, Show, please let him keep them! Oh, for one thing, it's logical. It looked like bad burns. The type that would naturally leave a scar. I know, the boys are constantly getting wounds that should leave scars but don't ("Shadow," anyone?) but, this once, they need to let these scars stay. It shouldn't be a big deal for the makeup department, as we hardly ever need to see them. Just knowing they're there is good enough.

That one worked, thanks! Ya know, the clip I watched was from a vid; they may've done a mirror image effect (which would reverse it). I didn't think about that. So, there's just one, then, on the left.

Yeah, we are desperate, analyzing these details. I get a kick out of it, though.

dude on both picture the marks is on his left hand

but i just checked and i know what confuses you
the first time we saw the marks was at s04 e01 00:05:26/00:41:56
and we saw it on dean's right hand
and then at s04 e01 00:12:24/00:41:56 we saw the markrs again on dean's left hand
but i checked the episode again on both times its on his left hand
just on the first time its shown throw a mirror
how come? because in the first we saw it
it was on dean's right hand and his ring and his bracelet was on his left hand
wich tell us that this shot was filmed throw a mirror

so dean has mark only on his left hand

wich still pretty stupid cause castiel grab dean's soul out of hell and not his body...

Ah, but why is it stupid? Who's to say that Cas didn't regenerate Dean's body right before he grabbed him, right there in hell?

If you think this is bad, Calena, at the Lounge, we are currently discussing why, both scientifically and morally, Cas should, by all rights, be nude when he regenerates or whatever. A very smart girl there has explained quite intelligently exactly why he should, indeed, be sans Jimmy's clothes; nay, sans all clothing. She's brilliant!

I was thinking more about this handprint of Cas'.... It's a bit lop sided, don't you think? Kind of ET like.... I dunno.... Cas in the rain mac has such petite hands... not these out of shape handprint that more resembles some prehistoric human... left or right shoulder, it doesn't really matter... still looks like a rush job.... now if I were going to the bother of pulling a fit boy like Dean out of the fiery pits of Hell, I'd have made a bit more effort then the half assed effort Cas obviously made....

For one, he used just the one hand.... how lazy is that? His hand could have slipped, thus letting go of Dean and scarring him forever in the meantime, if some baddie demon was downstairs at the same time taking a stronger hold of Dean's pretty ankles.... Did anyone check Dean's ankles lately? Are they free of more weirdo handprints? That's more to the point! And if so...... Are they better in shape then Cas's half assed job....

Cas was probably multitasking at the time.... one hand on Dean's shoulder yanking on for dear life... the other hand wrapped around a tuna sandwich/burrito out of the fridge in that store Dean found himself in minutes later..... Who does he think he is.... a woman???
