any way as everybuddy i was confuesed during the last episode of season 4
it was when i saw that lilith was the first daemon and i saw azazel talking with lucifer and all this
cuz i got the feeling that azazel has higher "class"[lets say] then lilith
after all lilith has white eyes and alistor[the 1 who tortured dean]
but azazel was the only 1 with the yellow eyes
and also because at the 3rd season the girl daemon said that the daemons accept azazel as their leader

any way like a week ago i started to watch the all series again
and when i got to episode 21 at the second season
i saw the flashback that azazel showed sam,
and when sam drank azazel blood he turned his head to the side
and his eyes flashed with yellow for less then a second
saeson 2 episode 21 minute 30:15

so i started thinking about that "azazel is stronger\more special then lilith" thing
and when i thought about the conversion that azazel had with lucifer it hit me
a' the special blood azazel had could turn another humens to daemons
b' all the times we saw azazel leaves his human buddy he came back to the same buddy
c' we became the leader when lucifer wasn't around

conclusion- i belive that as azazel gave sam the "potential" of becoming a yellow eyes daemon
lucifer as gave azazel the potential of becoming the yellow eyes daemon
or even made him the yellow eyes daemon
and i am not sure about this part but i think that the human buddy that azazel always had is his real buddy,the buddy that drank lucifer's blood

so all that made me sure that when we will see lucifer his eyes will be as yellow as mustard
yellow as azazel's for the 1 who didnt understand me

As it just so happened, I finished reading the Official SPN Companion for Season 3 a few days ago.
Let me quote Sera Gamble on demon hierachy for you
"In my mind, the very top of the food chain of demons is Lucifer," Gamble reveals."But so far on the show he has only been talked about as a legend that some demons believe in. Lillith is just below, Yellow-Eyes was just below Lilith, and then there's this special group of demons that work just for Lilith, the Crossroads Demons."
(SPN, The Official Companion, Season 3, page 105)

I think YED was the highest ranking demon who was "out", walking the earth. Lilith and Lucifer were both stuck in hell.

Eric Kripke then goes on to explain that they needed a way to differentiate Lilith from the other demons, and they chose white eyes for her. So Lilith is above YED, and Lucifer is above Lilith - the hierachy seems to be bottom= black, higher management = yellow, second in command= white and special ops/Crossroads demon = red.
It's a pity that they already used red, it would have been a good colour for Lucifer.

I don't think Lucifer's eyes will be yellow, I think they'll either be white or a completely different colour. Cool and very interesting question, though. What eye colour will Lucifer have? Someone should have asked that at Comic Con!

I agree that YED gave Sam the potential to be a yellow eyed demon while still alive, as opposed to having spent centuries in hell. Maybe that's what Ruby's comment "it wasn't the blood you had it in you all the time" (or something like that, I don't remember exactly) was about - the blood of the black demons can't be as powerful as a YED, right?

and its not about lilith beaing stack in hell cuz if u will watch the 3 season again u will c that they r saying "after YED died lilith took over"
i still need to watch the season again to understand every thing
and about the eyes colors they realy ****ed up about that if it wouldnt be yellow i cant think about any other color who would fits

Hm. Maybe Lilith escaped with all the other demons when they opened the Devil's Gate in S2 finale, and with YED gone Lilith took over and carried on the elaborate plan to get Lucifer out. That would make sense.

Technically though, Lucifer is still an angel. Angels don't seem to have special eye colours. So maybe Lucifer won't have a special eye colour either, because he is not a demon.

What do you mean? Actually I'm not confused, because they kindly explained the YED masterplan and how Lilith played into it very nicely in the S4 finale with the flashback at the nunnery.
What baffles me about Lilith, and what I hope someone will ask Master Kripke at some point, is why she was willing to sacrifice herself for Lucifer. Yes, they told us demons can feel love, but dying? There was nothing in it for her. Or do demons go to some sort of demonic heaven if they've been "good demons"?

Calena, I'm leaning more toward what you said--Lucifer's an angel and they (when vesseled, anyway) don't have any special eye color; it's whatever their vessel's is. HOWEVER, Lucifer is an angel who's been living under very different circumstances in a very different place than the rest of the angels and for a very long time. Also, demons were either created by him or, at the least, at least some of them serve him, so they may be bonded to him in some way. It could be that being in hell causes the different eye colors for some reason (that's right, leave it to me to overthink things!).

SO, I won't be surprised if he does or doesn't.

If he does, I'd think it should shock people (not me, because this makes the most sense to me) by his eye color being something jaw-droppingly beautiful. Something like, yes, a pure, gorgeous azure. Or a beautiful shade of violet. Or iridescent/rainbow/hollographic something. Something we look at and think, "oooh, preeeetty!" Wasn't he supposed to be the most beautiful angel? I'd swear I heard that somewhere; maybe not on the show, though.

I don't know about the eyes. I don't really care, but I'd think he'd either had some special color we haven't seen yet, maybe white one or just as Castiel and other angels the color as their vessel has ...

I see you've made all of those points, so I'm afraid I have nothing more on my mind.. Blame Misha lol... I've been catching up on the stuff and soo...

but god punished him after what he did to lilith

btw how does the writers explain that the crossroad daemon offered dean to bring his father back if she couldnt bring dean back at the 3rd-4th seasons

Ah, but I don't see how the way one feels about Lucifer should affect the eye color! Bonded doesn't mean bonded by love/like. If someone tied us together, we'd be bonded to each other, even if we hated each other. Just saying that maybe this power/physical bond causes the eye color. Sort of like genetics. You might hate your Mom, but if your genes give you her eye color, you'll have her eye color! (That was just a scenario, of course! I hope you don't hate your mom!)

I didn't mean that everyone has to go to hell to get the eye change. I meant that the orignial demons got their eye color from being in hell and it just perpetuates. Like evolutionary characteristics with real-live beings. Humans have certain characteristics in relation to what regions their ancestors came from. If an Asian moves out of Asia, they still look Asian.


Am I making sense? I'm kind of out of it today. And I don't think Supernatural ever said a thing about Lucifer's beauty being stolen. You can't think that just because some scripture somewhere says something that it will be that way in the show. The show obviously does its own thing with all tales.
