| In the episode Monster Movie Dean stated that all his old Scars were gone, but in the episode 'Monster at the end of this book.' We see that Dean still has his Tattoo, But I wouldn't think that would be possible, Because if all of Dean's scar's disappeared wouldn't his tattoo of as-well? Maybe it's a plot hole, Maybe Dean went and got the tattoo re-done sometime in Season 4, I'm not sure. But what do you others think? |

| A tattoo is not a scar, unless of course your tattoo artist has no clue and has the needle out to far. So I would have to say no on the basis that it's not a scar. You can get tattoos removed and still there is no scaring because the ink is just right underneath your skin so there is no tissue/muscle damage to cause scarring.

| Actually, Dean didn't say that just his scars were gone. He said everything had been made new. Old bone breaks healed, even. I just choose to think Cas, wise angel that he is, angeled it there. He knew it was important. Yes. Angels have tattoo powers. It's a little-known fact. (Maybe that part of Dean's body hadn't rotted yet; at least not to the point of destroying the tattoo. In my imagination, Cas actually used what was left of Dean's body to regenerate him. After all, there weren't any mouldering body parts in the casket with Dean. If so, he could've just left that intact. Simple.) |
