| If the boys can get back the Colt, Sam can enter the Devil's Gate they opened in AHBL Part 1. Just like Ava and Jake did in that episode, Sam can turn on the demon switches in his brain and control all the demons in hell to find out who holds the contract on Dean. Sam can use the demons he's controlling (hey - just like Lillith) to help him hunt down the contract-holder and do away with the dude. Sam can then, through his physic ability (like Andy did), contact Dean and tell him to open up the Gate and let him out. |

| Jared's S&M gal ![]() | WTF, I'm not alone! Mei, you gotta write it out 'cause I know we probably won't get to see it on SN. I don't think the writers are that daring though I'd totally be game to see them try it. Only issue is I don't think I'd want to see Dean all glowy every ep and he definitely would need to come back in his body, for obvious reasons, lol. But yeah, we're seeing Dean grapple with the idea of dying and going to hell and what will happen to him so seeing him then struggle with turning evil would be so great acting and story wise. I wouldn't mind seeing Dean being tortured in hell at first because we all know hunters must get it bad there. But then he'd have to get out...how, I'm not so sure yet. Personally though, I think some really great stuff could be done with that kinda storyline. But having Sam save Dean just feels like it's back to the same old same old. I'd definitely prefer to see them step out of the box on this one.

| Senior Member ![]() | I would too. Interesting idea. If Dean died, Sam could maybe open the gate to hell himself in hopes of getting Dean out. I could see that. I could see him going alittle dark side after Dean dies. Refusing to burin the body. Maybe Dean could possess himself? That would be interesting. They'd have a whole slew of demons they let out to get Dean out to, and watching Dean struggle with what he is would be interesting. Yeah, I wouldn't want to see him all glowy either. I really don't know how they are going to fix this. I don't think they will go down the dark road though. Thats interesting what was said about Sam actually traveling into hell to find the contract holder... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I hope its more exciting than AHBL 1 & 2. I was really expecting a WAR and the special kids to be fighting for the demons, but the whole ANTM vibe I got (w/ one on ones with the YED himself) just wasn't want I wanted nor expected.

| Jared's S&M gal ![]() | I was thinking Sam could open the gates, but I just wasn't sure if I'd want to see that again. Though, it would totally make sense...Sam opening the gates to let his brother out. I think I'm digging the idea of Sam going into hell to get Dean out instead though...seeing Dean being tortured in there (I don't know what it is with me and torture, lol) and fighting to get him out. And major word on the whole special kids moment. It was pretty lame and an even bigger letdown that the season 1 Heroes finale. I wanted to see an all out demon war with those special kids as an army and seeing like 6 or 7 pick each other off was beyond disappointing. It was kinda pathetic. Please don't do me like that again, SN.

| Senior Member ![]() | Yeah I've got a serious problem with torturing the characters I love in stories. Its bad. Seeing Dean all hurting is just toooo good. I'm liking the idea of Sam going into hell, but what does he do after that? Hell is totally new ground that hasn't really be covered, except that its like Hellraiser LOL. I'd have to work out a lot of kinks before I could start writing.

| Jared's S&M gal ![]() | Hmmm...well obviously getting into hell should be easier than getting out. Naturally Bobby would warn him against it but we know how Sam wouldn't even be paying Bobby any mind, just totally intent on going to get his brother. I'm thinking since Sam wouldn't be dead but just going into hell plus the fact that Sam may in fact be innately evil (hell, wasn't he supposed to be the leader of those demons), that he'd probably be able to move throughout hell without the demons going after him. That is until he tries to get Dean out. Or Sam could immediately go into hell and have to battle to even find Dean, fighting demons all on his own....I'd like that, especially if he did it shirtless...because hell is hot, right? Sam could run into past demons and be forced to fight them or he could run into demons like Ruby, who try to help him. Either way he manages to get to Dean who is totally f****d up from being tortured and he lets Dean know he's gonna get him out of there (stating the obvious, as most tv shows do, lol). Of course we'll get to see them working together to fight off the demons who sure as hell don't wanna see Dean go. (BTW, is John still in hell, 'cause if he is, that'd make a great opportunity to see Daddy again). I'd be ok with them getting the gates of hell open for them to get out (how this is done I'm not sure...maybe Bela could do it to help the brothers or Lillith to let her army of demons out). But I know I'd want to actually see if not all at least most of those spirits they've forced back into hell again. That'd be really cool to see. I don't know...just rattling off ideas.

| Bobby works with Bela to contact Daddy Winchester's essence...aura...whatever... to tell him about Dean's deal. Ruby casts a spell to help Daddy W achieve corporal form so he can come fight to save Dean when the contract-holding demon comes to collect. However, by the time he makes it back to earth from whatever realm he's in, Dean has already died and gone to hell. Sam, Daddy W, Ellen and Bobby storm the Devil's Gate to get Dean back. Once inside, they get separated trying to find Dean. Daddy W runs into Mommy W - who it turns out was 1/2 demon on earth and the YED's sister. Mommy W leads Dad to Dean-who is being tortured by horny demonettes . Mom and Dad together rescue Dean and set off to find Sam, who is busy slaying every demon he can find. Once everyone gets together and makes it to the exit, they're stopped by the contract-holding demon who won't let anyone out until he gets a soul. He creates four walls around the group and himself, blocking all exits until someone gives him a soul. Sam begins chanting the demon-killing spell that Ruby was going to use in Jus In Bello. Suddenly, contract-holding demon, Mommy W and Sam all disappear.....To be continued |

| Senior Member ![]() | Heres some more thoughts. Daddy Winchester isn't in hell anymore, I don't know if I want to go the route to bring him back. Might be cool to do some flash back stuff with him though. So Dean dies, and Sam is upset, puts Dean's body into the backseat of the impala and drives all the way to the devils gate. Bobby meets him there, to try and talk him out of it, but Sam isn't having any of it. At gun point he tells him he's going into hell to get his brother back and there is no stopping it. Ruby has tagged along with Bobby and thinks the idea is too dangerous and he's going to get killed, but she'll go with him. Its the only way she can think of to protect him at this point. She can navigate him through hell to try and find his brother because she obviously had been there. Sam has the colt and is going to open the gates of hell to go in, its Bobby's job to close them behind him. Sam asks how long with will take, Ruby guesses at a time (not sure how long it should take) but that time frame is what Sam gives Bobby. When time is up, he opens the gates of hell, but only for a small window of time. If Sam doesn't make it back with Dean, he has to close them up and forget about them. They open the gates to hell, some demons and stuff get out, but Sam and Ruby manage to get in quick enough and the doors close. Word spreads quickly throughout hell that Sam is there. I think there could be a mixed reception. Sam's followers VS Lilith's followers. He gets safe passage through some areas, other areas he has to fight his way through. When they find Dean he's pretty messed up like you said. I'm not sure how Dean should come off. Like a full on physical person is my thoughts. Like inside of hell they are flesh and blood but outside they are the 'ghosts' of themselves. Fighting their way out of hell is whats hard. Dean isn't as useful because of what he's been through and even might hold them back in some aspects. The clock ticks closer to when the gates will open again. I imagine they'll run into Meg and that brother dude of hers, maybe the slew of demons who attacked them at the police station. Things get really hairy and Sam's powers erupt at a scary level, until they can get their way to the front. Ruby can survive or not. They make it out of their, but Dean is still dead. He possess his own body and then its sequel time LOL. Because Sam's fight through hell and Dean's loosing fight against retaining his humaity seem like two different stories to me.

| Thanks! I thought that would be a good cliff hanger for season 4 - it would have all of us screaming for more. My final thoughts for today - I'm supposed to be working so ... Bobby, Sam and Dean are racing against time trying to find protection spells to prevent Dean from going to hell. A clock in the corner of the screen counts down the minutes. The clock chimes the witching hour and the contract-holding demon shows up to collect Dean's soul. He pins Sam and Bobby to the wall (of course) and reaches out his hand towards Dean. Dean's soul starts to leave his body as Dean screams in pain. Dean's shirt rips off (hey this is my fantasy...) and the tattoo on his chest is glowing. Sam's shirt splits open, too (oh, yeah, I gotta) and his tattoo begins to glow like Dean's. A line is drawn between the tattoos and connects to Dean's amulet, creating a triangular prism that engulfs Dean. The contract-holding demon, however, is still linked to Dean through the hand-soul contact and is also engulfed in the prism. Bobby sees this and manages to throw some salt on the prism, trying to break the demon's hold on Dean and breaking the prism in the process. Something goes wrong. Dean's soul is swapped with the demon's. Sam and Bobby quickly exorcise the demon while he's recovering from the switch and mistakenly send the wrong soul back to hell. Dean (now, really the demon) pretends to be the real Dean. The real Dean falls into Hell, calling desparately for Sam but he can't be heard. Demon Dean hugs Sam and Bobby, thanking them for saving his life. As they walk to the Impala, Demon Dean pulls off the amulet and lets it drop to the ground. Bobby sees and picks it up. As Demon Dean and Sam drive away in a cloud of dust, Bobby stares after the car suspicously, holding the amulet tightly in his hand... To be continued in Season Four |
