Yeah I have to agree... BK do better fries then Mackey D's!!! Have to also admit on the rare occasion we do go for a BK.... I'm also quite partial to their Spicy Bean Burger.... If I have to go Mackey D's... I probably go for their fish thing... not so keen on any of their burgers...
Our local Chinese Restaurant does top food though.... I always send AJ in there to order the food.... He always totally overdoes it on the 'Please & Thank Yous' and they end up sending him back out with a pile more extras like spring rolls and prawn crackers... etc.... When I go in to order, I barely get the actual order let alone any extras!!!

Really? I will have to go to Europe and see if it's any different. Here, no matter what BK I go to, the fries never seem to have any taste to them...no salt or seasoning....just a little crunchy on the outside...not as much as they should be...and then cold and squishy on the inside. It almost tastes like a frozen fry, to be quite honest. At least Mcd's cooks their fries more thoroughly.

Spicy Bean Burger? We don't have those here? Sounds like something you would Taco Bell...if it were a burrito instead. BTW, I love me some Taco Bell--dammit.

I totally believe you. Because the moment Dean lifted that wrench thingie to strike my buddy E. also screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOO" like Darth Vader being told Padme's dead. Must be a guy thing, they feel for the car, we girls feel for Dean instead.

We don't have Spicy Bean Burgers at BK here, either. But honestly, it sounds like a rather ... awkward British thing. (sorry smiley ). I polled E. on his take of junk food chains and he is of the opinion that McDonalds in Germany doesn't taste as good as here, so it might be true that they are indeed different in each country.

I'm ok, thx. I just made another amazon order as my mum now wants to plunge right into bible study. I would have to say much about that, of course, only whatever keeps her occupied and of my back is fine by me. I also realized I forgot to order CCR, Foreigner & Journey CDs with my last order, so I included them. And I splurged for headphones that cost as much as my mp3 player, because the ones I have now, though they give a very satisfying sound quality, are tortured, because they hurt and they keep falling out.

You're mom wants you to attend bible study? Well, ordering more stuff off of amazon is always a good excuse, I suppose.....never really had that problem. Ahh, I hate those pesky earphones...they always fall out of my ears, too. And when you finally get them to stay, it feels kind of uncomfortable, like you have just stuffed your ears to maximum capacity.

I can't see my frigging living room floor because I apparently have too much Tupperware....I mean, gawd, I didn't realize how much I had accumulated. I also love label makers...I was just wiping off a few surfaces when I realized I must have gotten a little too happy with the label maker not too long ago.....my stove has a label on it that says 'stove." My door has a label on it that says "door." My fridge has a label that says "fridge." Even the clock has a label that says "clock." Yea, I know, it sounds so stupid. What was I thinking?

Sorry, I phrased it misleadingly. Mommy dearest wants to plunge into bible study herself. Although she refuses to accept or even acklnowledge that I'm an atheist, I think deep down she knows better than to let me within a 10meter radius of her bible study buddies.
As she hasn't done any bible study before she feels a bit overwhelmend and not quite up to the task of speaking eloquently in that group of long practised bible study types. So I offered to look for books that would shed some light on how to interpret the bible, or even find the chapters you are looking for on amazon and ordered 3 books for her, among them "The Bible for Dummies" I think I will take a look at those books myself, as knowledge definitely is power and it pays to know thy enemy.

I can relate. I love storage devices, boxes and so on, and I have a ton of tupperware too. Sadly it doesn't get used much, because mum doesn't like it and I don't cook here as I still feel that that's not my kitchen and I would feel uncomfortable cooking.

See, if you were trying to study a new language, say German, I could tell you the German words for all those things and it would be the perfect excuse for you to put labels on everything, since it's a great way to learn new words!
