omg,i was so scared when i read it first time...good that Kripke was just joking(although i think it isnt funny at all,lol)....i cant imagine CHad in SPN at all...he is good in another shows, but i wouldnt want him in SPN....im actually glad that they chose rather unknown actors/actresses to SPN....i didnt even know Jensen and Jared when i saw it firstly...itīs better because we know them as our Sammy and Dean,imo....i mean iīm glad that i see them this way and characters are more believable for me...if for example Chad would play in SPN,i would compare him with his another roles and would see him as CHarlie from DC or one from some his movies...

Calena,
No, I wasn't saying they were alike; this was precisely the point I was making when I stated I didn't think it would work. The only thing I could see from it all was how they are both considered teen heart throbs and maybe would appeal to the same age group--but that's about it.

I have to agree with Helps on this one. I really don't see Chad jumping on board, and I think it would come across as less believable because I would be so aware of the other roles he has filled. Furthermore, OTH is nothing like SPN, so I really can't see it happening...I can't see him fitting into this mold....but that's just my opinion.

yes, thatīs what i meant...he doesnt fit into this mold for me...iīm happy that somehow i love all characters in SPN,but these actors/actresses are unknown for me...i think i wouldnt get used to seeing him in supernatural....heīs just another kind of actor....i know that it maybe sounds bad, because i gave him label "soapy" actor, but i cant help it...

You know, I was just thinking how soapy OTH really is, especially after hearing from someone they now air episodes on some soap network...

How is everyone today?

thatīs good question..i guess that itīs enough soapy, but i didnt see any episodes....but i would bet that itīs rather soapy......

aww...today iīm in bitchy mood and feel kinda desperate...
first thing i screwed up everything what i could....iīm really scared that i cant make all things at school right...then iīm angry and shocked about our chemistry teacher...i thought that she canīt be more bitchy and that i canīt despise her more...you know she make us many problems as class...she managed to test some of my classmates who were absent for more than 30% her lessons....i would accept it...one of them is really moron and doesnt take part in her lessons...but at least two of them she chose,i really dont know why...one my classmate was at least three weeks in hospital and she decided to choose him...he has same marks as we all have, but she had to test him...itīs quite bad and it bothers me,but the worst thing what she did is that she wanted to test one girl, our classmate.....this girl has serious problems and few times was in hospital and she already had few surgeries, but still her problems come back...she also has enough marks as others and even this teacher told us all that she works well in lessons etc(teacher told that because this girl had healthy problems before, but she managed to get even better marks than we others...)...and after all she chose her to testing...i dunno, but itīs about that she really didnt choose all people who has more than 30%absent so i dont understand(no one understand) why she had to choose her, when she has serious problems...point is today they were testing and my friend(girl) didnt manage it...she was for some time absent now(because problems) and now she came just for this testing...i have to add she is really smart one,has many lessons moreover than we are in her free time etc...i would say she is the most reasonable about knowledge....anyway she came to class where were this our chemistry teacher, another chemistry teacher and our teacher(teacher who care about our class)....poor friend was so nervous(which i totally understand) that she everything screwed....they had two parts, but part that they wrote was damn hard...and i can say that i believe that, because this bitchy teacher makes hard tests on purpose....anyway she is now all broken...she left class where they tested her,she was crying etc, because she forgot everything when she was in front of them....in few days sheīs gonna have next surgery etc and im really sorry about her...so about how i am today....im totally in bitchy mood, cause i canīt get why this chemistry teacher is so characterless...when i told that mum,she said that if she would be parent of her that she would probably tell off this teacher, cause if her child would have healthy problems and she would make it worse with her testing,so then that she would visit her and "ask her few questions"....what seemed funny to me and says many about this teacher is that she with smile on her face told my friend: "you know, the health is really important...it doesnt matter if you would have to repeat 3rd class again..the health is most important.."...and if you know her,she surely said it with her irony....lol,sorry that i tell you this crap...i just cant believe that...what the hell kind of teacher is she...she should be politician or something...she is enough selifsh and bitchy for this job....
hope that it all makes sense a little...

Wow, I'm sorry you're in such a mood. This teacher doesn't sound all too reasonable. Were all of you being tested...or did she just choose these people because they had been absent? It isn't that bad here....yes, all students are testing on the material, but if there are some conflicts, usually the test can be made up at a later date. And then sometimes they simply send you some study material so you are not completely lost when it's time to take the test. If you let them know what's going on, they will usually work with you.

you donīt have to be sorry....iīm ok,just sorry for classmates and hate this teacher....i just dont know why she is acting this way....she isnt reasonable at all....she taught even my mom when she was at this school and everyone know here when you tell them her name....others professors are sorry for us,too...at least some of them, but it seems she is supported by headmistress .....
itīs what is so "funny" about that all..she didnt choose everyone who had more than 30%,but just ones who she wanted to test....she chose some boys, because obviously she doesnt like them....there were more conflicts about it...for example she chose one boy,who hadnt absence more than 30%..he came to her and politely he told her that he shouldnt do testing...instead she would excuse him,she told him that he shouldnt control what she made and that when hew thinks he is clever enough that she is gonna test him in next lesson of chemistry....i dunno, but itīs unbelievable for me....she should be professional or something...
yes,it sounds in usa you have better conditions for testing....she told them that they will be testing three weeks ago and no one of them got some material....i admit that one of them really deserved to be testing, but for example this girl...when she chose just one of them,i dunno why she had to choose her....

Your teacher really sounds like an awful person, helps. In my experience the only thing that helps dealing with teachers of this kind is if enough parents are complaining to her superiour/ the principal of the school - even the ones whose kids aren't being tested.
Your mum was great on this, wasn't she? I think that reaction might even have earned her some cleaning duties, don't you think?

Sorry, candy, I misunderstood you.

Of course I agree with both of you, I can't nor do I want to imagine Chad in SPN, but before we slag off soap actors, let's pause a moment and remember where Jensen came from. Days of our Lives, anyone? So I'm hestiant to say that Chad couldn't positively suprise us as an actor if he was given a cool role to play with a great storyline. I mean Leonardo diCaprio has come a long way since Titanic, for example.
Well, I was dimly aware of Jensen as that strange guy I didn't trust in Dawson's Creek and I was very aware of him as Alec in Dark Angel, but Alec is a Dean-like role in some ways. I learnt of the DooL only after having fallen for SPN.

So, I now have to go and clean my car, because my mother's nagging has finally become unbearable and if I won't clean it today, she will, and if I let her it will only increase the nagging and moaning and complaining. I so want my life back!

The good news are I will get my mp3 player today or tomorrow and amazon sent a mail, that they sent away my CD order, so I guess I will get it by Monday or Tuesday.

Hello all
Just on for a bit... and it seems you are all offline... where are you all???
Hey Candy.... just noticed you about! How are you doing?
My computer is well and truly not moving at all at the mo... have rewiring issues since storm last week... I am waiting for a male mate of mine to sort of fiddle about with some of the phone cable wiring in my house... it's not an area I am very good with... but nevertheless... I will watch and pay attention for next time.... I think I might just check out how he does all the rewiring from behind him.... as IMO, it's always a fun angle to look at this guy from... !
OMG.... Did I just say that out loud??? I really have got to stop doing that..... hmmm....
Anyway.... kind of getting this thread topic.... not all that familar with OTH or Chad whoever..
what's your take on all things 'Dean's Deal'???

This is true, and perhaps I am under estimating him. Even though they both have a background in more soapy stuff, I think it's a little different. IMO, people are probably more aware of Chad than they were aware of Dean in his soap days. For one, both SPN and OTH have similar target audiences, focusing on a certain demographic. Also, both shows air on the same network. When you take this into consideration, it can probably be concluded that a large portion of SPN viewers are either regular OTH viewers or are at the very least familiar with the show. I think this familiarity would make it more difficult to see him filling some role on SPN. It's not necessarily that I doubt his acting abilities; it's more of the association with his OTH character that leads me to believe such a decision would get in the way of achieving the most convincing portrayal on SPN. You often see this with actors.....they are often pigeonholed into a certain role once they spend a great deal of time portraying a single character. I think I read something about the Weenieworth talking about having to break away from his role as Mikey and reinventing himself when the show ends. If I am not mistaken when asked about movie roles he had been offered, he replied that most all offers were in some way like the character he is already playing on PB--someone who has been in prison, someone who is going to prison, and so on. Even though his acting ability has greatly been expanded and he is becoming a very fine actor, he still has the face the same problem.

You made a good point about LD, but I think he took some time off. I remember how a few years went by and he was nowhere to be seen. I didn't see him on any shows or in any movies. I think the break he took allowed him the time and opportunity to reinvent himself, so when he finally did come back, he was about to move away from the roles he was so well known for. People had moved on, and they no longer relegated him to a certain stereotype.

Ha! Good luck with that.

Don't feel too bad. I need to clean mine out as well. I was going to do it the other day, but I kept finding reasons not to. I had to go pick up some boxes, so for awhile, the trunk was filled with boxes. I still need more, so I don't know if I am going to do it before or after I clean out my car.
