Default Is this Metallicar?

So, my friend R. took a pic of this car he saw on the highway while driving to work, and he thinks it might be a Chevy Impala, maybe even the same model as Metallicar.

I personally think the trunk is too short to be a 67, but it could be the angle of the pic. And it is YELLOW. That's pretty ugly and a blasphemy to boot, even if it's not a 67!

Hey... I'm 90 % sure it's not a 67'! The trunk is way too short...
But it might be an Impala, I have no idea about that... But the color is sooo wrong lol! Yellow? Come on!

Oh for the love of God.... the damn thing is a vomity yellow for a start.....
This is the sort of thing that happens when we are without new SPN eps... We get so bored.... we start doing polls like this... in the effort to try and remain a least a little bit sane...

Maybe... it's the Impala in disguise... doing some undercover work in Europe instead of the US... Did you happen to see who was inside driving it? Was R near enough to it at any stage to hear the type of music being played on it cause it looks to me like the window is rolled down in the drivers side here.... I dunno.... could be Dean's head there in the front....

My guess, no.... but what do I know?

I kind of dig cars, but I'm a decently girly girl; I can't really spot models and makes a mile away or whatever. But it doesn't look like a '67 Impala to me. Could be another model, though. I voted the "yellow" option. That's about all I can think of when I see it. Woo, yellow! Ow, my eyes!

By the way, am I the only one who uses the alternate pronunciation of Impala? I changed over to using the one everyone else uses when talking about THE Impala, but I've always pronounced it the other way. As in sounding like the word "pal," rather than "paul." *shrug* Probably is just me. I always have to be different, it seems!

I don't think it's impala '67. If it's impala then deffo different model. But I'd rather think it maybe isn't even Chevrolet... It might be another american muscle car... I like cars as I have an older brother, I've always been interested in, but I can't recognize this one....

It is a gross yellow though.... It's kind of sad that there is actually someone who drives this around the roads in Austria everyday... they must get the most woeful of headaches from the brightness of the shine off it alone.... Bet they are permanently wearing sunshades when they have it parked in their driveway....

BTW.... What speed was R. going when the pic was taken? The road he's driving on is all blurry.... feeling the need, the need for speed I see.....

no no no. Its not the Impala at all. The tail end is different. Bear in mind muscle cars from the 70s all have similar body shapes anyways.
If you look closely this yellow car has sedan style doors and a column between the doors while the Impala has Coupe-style windows divider that goes down with the window
