| I should get dressed, instead of posting. *sigh* Quote:

Random thought: I've been checking out Twilight fandom lately, and I have become a lolfan - someone who thinks it's really bad, but highly entertaining, especially the hype around it. And I wondered, we Supernaturalists use the word "awesome" if something's really great. What do Twilighters use? Sparkling?

| I'm sorry, I didn't see the movie; it doesn't look like my thing at all. I love vampires and I like 'em more traditional. Anne Rice's are about as non-traditional as I like. And she went too gay with 'em. The first couple of books were good ("Interview" will always be my fave), but then it just got sooooooo gay. See? I never did like slash! Although, I admit, probably my fave vampire story is Carmilla! But nothing actually overtly sexual happened in it. And I don't care about the lesbo overtones; I just think it's a creepy, atmospheric tale. It's one of those I can easily see in my head as I read it. Perhaps I could enjoy laughing at Twilight, though! I like laughin' at stuff! P.S. What even is "squee," exactly?! I get that people use that word when they are excited/happy about something in fandom. But I don't quite. . . I don't know, I just hate that word! It's not a real word, is it?!

| Thought y'all may be interested to know you can't say "whore" in the Lounge either. Whore is not a curse word. It is the proper, technical term for a certain profession. Yes, the profession is a terrible one, but it exists. If one were to ask what a whore's profession *snicker* is, that would be the proper, technical answer. And whores have to be addressed; they exist. It's not cursing. Preachers use the word whore in the pulpit. "Whore" and "prostitute" are technical terms. What is wrong with the C.W.?! I didn't get banned--yet! I just noticed that the word was starred out in my post. That's what happened, though, right before my last banning. Also, whore was mentioned in a proper way. It was from Eric's statement! *Sigh* The Lounge makes me feel like I'm some total potty-mouthed deviant!

| Cookie, I think the official term is prostitute, and not whore. If you wanna be nice you can always use "working girl". You can't fool us, we are on to you, you use the CW lounge to throw around profanities - you've even progressed from masking them to using them unmasked! Months ago you'd have said "it rhymes with bore" Did you precede your use of this word with "I am quoting Eric Kripke"? Obviously I can't say "****ty internet connection" here, it gets stared out, but hopefully nobody will ban me.

| Whore also a time-honored, technical term. As I said, preachers/pastors use it in the pulpit, even. Just because it's a more common term and easier to say it doesn't make it any less "proper." WHO'S the native English speaker, here?!
