I like the new background, but like before the comment function doesn't let you quote, highlight, change colour, edit, etc. And I need that to discuss stuff. I know you girls aren't so much in favour of the new set up... it is in a more blog style that encourages more people to enter discussions, popular threads will stay on there encouraging more feedback on SPN! The new format, whilst looking complicated does also have alot of advantages ...

I was kind of torn, ok... really torn with the whole 'do I tell you guys that these Buddy threads will be closing in a few months' or not thing... due to the fact, I envisaged this, a change of mood on here... I am very hooked up with most of you girls! We have a good bond between us all over the last two years... newer users like EC and Suzie etc... have been amazing assets to the group on here... and for me, Modding over these threads has been a pleasure... which is why I told you all about latest developments. It's the least you all deserve ... as you are solid SPN fans who, at the end of the day... only want the best place and most 'fun' place to discuss the show etc...

I also have allegiance to BuddyTV. I take the role of Mod very seriously... so far, it's been fun... and I have gained alot of experience in this area... I 'especially' love... I mean ... really love the hours on end I spend deleting spammers Hahahahaha.... seriously, these threads have been great fun! I am committed to still working with Buddy to help enhance the new style forum and although, honestly, I not a big lover of the new style either, preferring to hang onto this side... things change and these changes ultimately will be for the better for more people over time!

I would love to have you all over there with me too! I realise that COS is a really up and coming great forum, jam packed with SPN threads etc.... [I'll be helping out on there too... just so you all know... so you will see me about there!!!] What, I am saying.... yes me... your SPN Mod... is stick around a while on here too folks and help me make the new style Buddy threads amazing too!!!

Only thing I find is the articles with the comments feature under them, but that sucks. I just commented on Vampire Diaries, but I had to use 2 comment boxes, because of the word count.
So PLEASE give me the link to that new BTV thing you are talking about, because I really really can't find it on my own.

I love COS, it has some really comfortable features. I wish you'd post there, too.

I love COS, it has some really comfortable features. I wish you'd post there, too.

I promise you I will be posting loads there in due course... this week has just been a very busy week settling back at school and settling Minime back there too!!! A week down and so far he seems to love it... hates his teacher cause she is way too strict apparently... I can't see it really.... she's a treasure... she was part time last year and we used to take a few hours off on a friday morning every week to go for a bacon butty breakie with a few coffees.... she's the quietest ever really... Anyway, rest of today, I promised to take Mini Me off to a place called @Bristol... it's a science nerdy type of place here in Bristol.... just so we can spend a few hours together doing mum:son bonding stuff... damn it.... I so long for the day when he will be happiest sitting across from me, during one of these bonding sessions in some cafe drinking coffee on tap... instead of doing some learning stuff... but no matter... I'll be on here and COS later to play around a bit!!! I am going to help out with some Mod duties on there... I have been floating on and off there for a while now... although Buddy & life has kept me busier... I'll be more on there in the very near future...

Damn it... didn't get to him on time... He's sat down now to walk some Doctor Who ep or Sarah Jane one or something... there'll be no moving him now!!!

I know.... and he is so very proud of the fact too!!! He's running a better farm then me on there now!!! He doesn't hate her, exactly.... he is just finding it a bit tougher now to settle down to Y6... last year in Primary... where he actually has to work!!! He's not impressed that he has to get grades on how he presents his work this year too... by his own admission, he tells all he writes like Yoda!!! He'll be fine once he settles back in....

It is all very much in it's infancy stage... so maybe if you all have a go on there and post your concerns or thoughts to me, I will see what I can do to make some changes etc.. on there... The forums are supposed to be more user friendly so Buddy is welcoming any feedback you may have... If you post to me too, I can put them all under the right nose for you, as it was...

Thanks to your announcement I now found the discuss button!
See, I really like the page looks-wise. And there are interesting topics. I would have to say a lot of stuff about fandom, for example. But it would probably take me 6 of the little comment boxes to do so, I can't even make paragraphs and noone would react to it anyway, so I won't bother. I could make a new thread here or at COS and link it at the BTV page in a comment box. Hm, maybe I'll do so later.

And smiley, doesn't the non-existence of smilies in those little comment boxes kill you!

^^^ It's all killing me, tbh... but it's on the way to being improved as they get required feedback about things... they are aware that most users like the smilies feature so are making steps to sorting something out in near future...
I agree, the text boxes are small and don't really encourage the long posting etc... we are used to here in these threads... COS will work for that reason too!!! But all I am saying is... don't forget it totally.... there will be some things that may interest you all on there... and don't be afraid to post...
