All good last few days... it's a shame little action is on here now due to users going elsewhere!

Which train website did you use, maybe yours is cheaper, the one ive found is £21 each way for me, and thats arriving in york just after 11pm its only a 2 hour trip though so thats good. also what time train are you getting back.
Actually, I called into 'Bristol, Parkway' my local/nearest station, the other day on my way over to the airport to drop my cousin off there and asked about prices etc... Tickets are cheap at moment to York. I officially got the required time off today... my boss is having a canary as I am supposed to be in work on the following Monday to move Premises etc... but I ummmm.... told her that 'sorry... SPN & Ghostfacers comes first!!! '..... I swear one of these days, this show is going to get me fired !!! £12.00 one way was cheapest, £24.00 was basic each way.... As I have to work four full 11 hour days in a row up to the thursday evening, I hope to finish work on the thursday evening around six-ish and go straight to station for 6.40pm train up to York... it arrives in about 10.30pm thursday pm... just in time for last orders in some York Pub!!!
I am currently looking thru best hotel options and will see what I can come up with... it's tough because the cheaper ones are further away from the Con so what you don't spend on hotel bills, you end up spending on travel costs anyway and so far they are all balancing themselves out... something will come up though...

Yea the more the merrier, has she got hotel plans yet?
KiKi Is still hoping to come to Con... She is due to fly into Manchester and then train it down, but so far train costs are a bit more expensive for her from there... she either texted/emailed or f/b me earlier today to pass on news and I read it somewhere on a phone text... I get updates on certain things on there as I am busy away from computer alot during day some days...

Quote:
ok cool, just to let you know i dont go on facebook anymore lol
I noticed you weren't on there lately... shame that... I need another few neighbours for my farm on there... It's being overrun with weeds at the moment... all my crops are dying from neglect and a stupid black sheep keeps knocking down my fences and traipsing over what's left of my about to die crops.... I know, being an Irish farmers daughter, I should have more of a grip on these things... but....

Yea im really not likeing the forums on the main site.
It saddens me that these forums were neglected so badly by the owners of Buddy TV.... They were left to rot and go down to nothing.... I don't like the new layout either... it feels cluttered and confusing... This old familiar gang on here don't like the new formats either and have talked about also going elsewhere onto another SPN forum... I have joined it some months back and am already a Mod on there... A big part of me likes Buddy though, cause of the fun I have had on here and the friends I have made etc... I will stick it out a bit longer, give new area a decent chance to shine before I think of giving up on it...

Wow your journey is almost twice the length of mine, i thought we were about equal distance away, i really should look at a map lol
Im gonna keep looking for different train companys i might find a cheaper one but it seems late trains are cheaper so that means coming back monday night, is that what you were planning?

im sure theres buses that run close so traveling shouldnt be too expensive.

It's not long really... it's about four hours or so... I will sleep the full journey... after putting in 11 hours straight at work!!! Tricky thing is.... I was initially due to have MiniMe stay with me that weekend... alternate weekend's he goes off to his Dad's... but as I am away, and it's also at the tailend of our Half Term school holidays here... I have shipped him off to my darling 'Mother Out Law' ie: his Granny... all the way up in Scotland for the week... He is due back to his Dad's on the friday... and I am kind of hoping that Daddy's other half takes the Monday off to mind him and bring him off to school on the tuesday or I have to rely on a friend or two down this way to cover childcare! It's all still doable... but as usual.... it goes down to the wire with certain aspects of organisation!!! Talking of Mini Me, he is currently spitting fire out his ears too that I am not taking him to Ghostfacers with me... even after all his insane number of promises that he would be 'SOOOOOOOOOO' good....

I know you did... I tried numerous times to go on it but failed.... I will peruse around... and also help set up this new SPN site as well as give Buddy more of my time... I want to stick with it for a bit... but I am really sad to be seeing this side go soon.... Anyhow... Positivity... All steam ahead with the changes and all that!!!

Mini Me just recently got a basic F/B account on there ... I watch everything going on in it... He's onto his mates from school etc... anyway... you think your mum's worry about feeding her animals on her 'farm' isn't anal... it's not half as bad as having your ten year old demand you stay up til 1am to harvest his strawberries before they wither.... and catch the stray black sheep that's wandering around.... I love the fact that I am whopping the asses off some of my lifetime farmer friends on there.... They can't grow a row of spuds to save their lives!!! It's so silly.... but very addictive.... I am even getting random texts off my own boss from work to go in and sort her farm out when she's at a meeting!!! So funny....

I am travelling up early on thursday morn so I can make most of a free day or two in York looking at a few sites there! MiniMe is on hols up in Scotland with Granny that week and all I have to do is be somewhere near to Templemeads Train Station OR the airport here in Bristol to pick him up from Gran in or around 5pm before she takes her connecting flight back up to Scotland again! So I plan to leave York sometime around midday on monday 2nd.

So to recap.... seems a really good one, enough to meet our needs. Get back to me ASAP!

hi there

guess who's here? it's me yay!
happy that you enjoyed the weekend. God knows that if I wasn't so poor, I'd love to come to HH as well. I knew, GF guys are gonna be awesome company and it all would be so much more relaxed.
Can't wait to read your report. Spread the details
