I'm sure it won't be sold out yet....
Contact Rogue Events online... Basic Package is approx. £79.00 ish...

I haven't booked hotel yet, I am happy to go ahead and do so ... cheap & cheerful.... Are you up for sharing a room or do you want a single if you are able to come???

Train prices are currently going down a bit so best time to book train seats for York would be in a few weeks....

Hope all is good with you still coming....

Ok.... Terri...
Did some digging into on the hotel prices...
wait for it.... please sit down first....

Ok... single room ... £89.00 [B & B] £104.60 [B&B plus dinner...]

Twin Rooms sharing..... £ 99.00 between two... [B&B] £130.00 [B&B plus dinner]

Check in 3pm ish... Check out 12pm ish....

So thats... if we share [to keep costs down... ] Approx £150 a piece for B&B only... £185.00 a piece for three nights to include breakie & dinner....
Does that suit at all?

Single ... obviously works out at ... £270.00 each for B&B ... and a whopping... £312.00 each for the three nights if we do dinner...

Please get back to me on this one... I will, in the meantime look into nearby hotels and check prices etc.... I dunno, sometimes I think it's easier just to go upstairs for a kip or a freshen up when at these functions until I see those prices, that is.... I dunno.... I'm really funny with food at times... I love it all and thank God I do have a hearty appetite... I'm no sparrow when it comes to picking at food, but sadly... I have to watch certain allergies etc... it's hard to think about commiting to a dinner menu I have not already seen yet.... it may be the best and finest food in the world, but if some obscure herb or hint of tomato in it is going to kill me... I would rather stay alive and well the weekend.... On the basis of their food prices, I can just imagine how expensive their double Voddys with the dash of Soda water & lime is gonna be... They surely can't beat the Hilton Met's prices .... surely..... ?????? Ahhh that time.... seems like such a lifetime ago now.... ....

Oh I am so looking forward to this weekend....

Have to first get onto sorting childcare out for that weekend.... hmmm.... my EX, knowing that I had both this weekend and the Con next May coming up scheduled himself to be 'away' for both.... so I have to do some crawling to friends etc... won't be difficult... he practically lives over in some of their houses anyway....

Anyway... I will do some checking into nearby hotels, their prices and locations etc... and will go with whatever you are thinking of doing... I have put money by for this one... as I usually do... so I dunno... either way suits me ok!!!

BTW.... Been checking up on Travis Wester on F/B ... The G/F's have been toying with the idea of selling special T-shirts re: the weekend... with the proceeds from sales going straight to 'Doctors Without Borders'.... He is looking for feedback about it at the moment. Everyone seems to be happy with it!!!

Trains can be booked from 12 weeks before due date of departure... they are usually cheaper then if you book early!!!

I am currently trying to work out prices of cheap accom nearby to Hotel Con is in... as it does seem quite central to everything else when I look at it on a map.... although to be fair... I am pretty c**p at reading maps and may just get on the phone and ring the York Tourist Office, there's bound to be one of them around ... to get the info I need... the Birmingham lot were 'razor' helpful when I was organising that Asylum trip....

Oh dear God.... I very nearly had heart failure... I googled in 'budget Hotels in York' and it came back with ones that had rooms that were so expensive... and I sat here thinking... OMG... How did I miss the poshness of York, all this time.... anyway, it then dawned on me that I didn't put in the words UK.... so I was actually looking at pics of hotels in Yorks, from all over the world.... which is of little use to me... and dammit... my computer is frozen.... seriously, it's really grating now on my last working raw nerve....

Ok... quick look... they all so far are ranging in or around the same price of £288.00 a head for three nights... that's with breakie but minus the dinner.... free Mini Bar in one though... and Coffee making facilities in another... oh God... the choices here are so hard... how do you weigh up the merits of all those pros???

Got one for £105.00 a head for three nights... single rooms and all... but it's 8 miles out ... that's some serious travelling with hiked up taxi fares there and back so that's no good....

I dunno... I might just save time and energy and just stay in this hotel.... as much as I want to see York, I dunno if I want to only see the majority of it either really early in morning or late at night from a taxi window either side of the day's going on... I may ring up my old trusty 'lastminute' booking crowd again to see what they can come up with....

Hey everyone! Most of you probably already know that there's a whole convention of GhostFacers over Halloween in York and that all of us are going to be there. But we're also planning a bunch of other stuff like shooting an episode on location at the convention (which we still kinda need to talk to Wayne about), so we're all totally stoked and ready to 'Face whatever weird spooky stuff is in and/or around one of the most haunted demesnes in Europe.

Let's get Razor!
They're gonna shoot there.... it's gonna be frakin' awesome girls!!! You gotta update us!
