Well seems like it....

Ahhh I don't care..... I've survived much worse things then doing a weekend up in York alone..... Might even take an extra day or two after it to explore the area right..... who knows.... I'm still happy to go!!! I like the Ghostfacers.... those guys are seriously very funny.... very underrated in the whole world of Supernatural.... I'm looking forward to it... SO then, Terri..... are you up for a trip up York way at all???

I would like to go to York, if i can find cheap travel and accomodation i would go.
You area braver then me i would never go there on my own. lol

And i agree about stayin a little longer it would be a shame to go all that way and not doing a bit of sightseeing.

Ok..... Let me do a research on cheap accom in area.... hotel etc... like the one the rest of us stayed in in Birmingham will do.... train is probably easiest option for you.... cheapest when you book 12 weeks before...

I don't know if I am necessarily any braver then the next.... but I've been living awy from my parents since I was 16 years old... so I guess it's just down to experience not to mention the fact that if I don't make myself do these things etc... no one will....

Ok... no reason why we can't co-ordinate travel plans and then stay in same cheap-ish hotel.... I truly don't care how flat the surface is as long as it's flat for my two hours sleep a night..... Hell, as I am still waiting for my new bed plus bedroom furniture to arrive... I have been on an airbed for the last few weeks and have at least another week on it yet.... Cheap but functionable hotel with access to a very full coffee machine is all I ask.... I will do some checking for you about this!

Regarding travel arrangements.... I anticipate travelling up in the morning on about the 9.40am train from here... well, not here, rather train station.... I know I have erected many things in this house over the last few weeks, but still haven't quite managed to put up a fully functionable train station.... yet.... anyway, I already know the time of set off as it's the same train I took up to Birmingham and York is an estimated 2 hours past there.... so then if you nearer time schedule your train journey that gets you into York Train Station in or around maybe 1pm or near 2pm... I'll be there to meet you off train.... See, no problem at all..... All very do-able!!!

I travel alot by myself or with just my little Mini Me for company..... I like the solitude of journeys with no one else about.... I also travel back and forth to and from Ireland alot too.... it hardens the skin after a while when you got to stay on the ball when organising these things....
On the funny side, I once got on a train with my Mini Me in Scotland after visiting my ex mother OUT Law... (his Gran) fully intending to get off down here in Bristol and for some reason.... fell into the deepest sleep ever and woke up hours later near Penzance.... or Cornwall or somewhere down the very tip of the country.... hours past original get off stop.... He was only a few months old at the time and was fast asleep for the entire journey.... My Ex was having a meltdown at the time as he was waiting at the station for us to get off and when we didn't he freaked with worry.... I had my phone turned off as Mini Me was asleep and so was I.... Eventually.... I rang him to tell him we were coming from opposite end of the country to what he was expecting on a different train.... MONTHS of abuse and ribbing, I got over that one.... it ran for ages that joke....
I tend to set alarms and all now to wake me up a stop or two before intending destination....

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha...... Kind of scary that you are relying on me here I know, but we'll be fine.... might see a bit more of the country then originally planned but that's ok too..... I lioke sightseeing....

Talking of erecting things in this house, I just finished putting together my new computer chair today... and OMG... I swear I want to live in it forever..... It's a cheap-ish chair from Aldi's Store.... Got it because it was the nearest one to me earlier today and it looked comfy and good for my back as I sit working at my computer.... well anyway... it sort of rocks back and forth as I rock.... so lovely... I want to sleep now.... want to do less work.... so beautiful.... so well made.... ....
Happy zzzzzzzzzzzzzz's all!!!!

Hello Fellow Brave Traveler of the World....

Hmmm.... I have booked ordinary package... just need to send paperwork off tomorrow...

I'll do some checking on cheap hotels etc and pm you results!

Looking quite forward to it, tbh.... I actually really like the whole Ghostfacers idea, think it's a cracking one!!! Never been to York, either.... in fact, I believe I have an ex work colleague of mine now living up that direction, somewhere.... I'll get back in touch with her to do some ground work for us...

My train to Birmingham was about £45.00 odd.... if I can remember rightly, York is a further hour or two past there, so I assume I'll add maybe another £20.00 or so... I dunno.... whatever... you maybe find you get it cheaper then that within 12 weeks of the set off date..... don't book it now as it will cost you double!!! Stupid British trains.... talk about doing things wrong way round, but no matter....

Now just need to find a workable printer somewhere this side of the world to print out a copy of my Package Invoice to send off with cheque.... Oh Lordy.... This year I have spent so much money on SPN related things, I might as well just have shares in the show.... I think we are singlehandedly keeping the show afloat.... ROFL.....

Yea i had to check train prices for this month because they wont show prices that far ahead.

LOL.... Well I tried so darn hard to pick up a Brummie man whilst up in Birmingham, but you know.... the lot of them were just hiding themselves away from me for the entire weekend..... Now lets see.... ummm.... how long will it take to bag a Yorkshire man??? ROFL........... Ohhhh I dunno..... the only thing I know about York, so far is that Puddings come from there!!!

Seriously, I have got to check my work schedule to see what time off I can get and if someone will have Mini Me for an extra day or two.... yes indeed.... forgot about the kid, didn't you.... I do my best to do so too, Lord only knows I try, but darn it... thoughts of him keep a crawling back into my head, festering in my brain..... Damn this parenting lark.... it sucks up a social life like a hoover does some dust.....
