Hey guys! I'm sure some of you have subscribed to the SPN mag - thanks to smiley I now have too - and I thought it would be nice to have a place to discuss the articles. (I hope there isn't such a thread already, I looked, but didn't find one)

Today I got issue 3 and I'm about a quarter into it.

I thought it was interesting what EK said about Sam and Dean being equal, because some fans are of the opinion Sam's role is more important. I think S2 might have more about Sam, but S3 was definitely about Dean and I expect S4 to concentrate about equally on both. However I agree with EK when he said it was much better not to somehow force Dean into Sam's demon storyline. I totally dig the Campell Hero's Journey for Sam and I love that Dean is as cool and awesome as he is without some prophecy hanging over him. Imo it's the best of both worlds, storytelling-wise.

I would be happy to compare articles etc... but my copy has some really horrible slobbery like stuff in between each page... ... So I can only open some of them as the pages are stuck together....
BTW, the mag is quite good this time around! :0

You know those little towels people put around little children's necks (don't know the English word for that) to prevent them from getting their clothes dirty while eating? We may think of getting some of those for ourselves to keep the mag safe!

smiley, do you remember the ep when Dean got addicted to the vibrating beds? (Was it the Djinn one?) Sam said to Dean he won't help him feed his addiction. I'm so glad you don't think that way, but support my SPN addiction in every way possible!

I can't wait for S3 to come out on DVD (August 25th) - I have decided to buy it as UK import and screw the German audio track, I don't need it anyway and I can't wait 2 years for my very own S3 box set. Any only german-speaking people I might get hooked on SPN are hopefully that addicted by the time S3 rolls around here that they'll either watch it on TV or buy the german box set themselves, anyway.

I also can't wait for the BenBella Smart Pop book on SPN to come out.

Calena, you know we could really corner the market if we designed a set of bibs to wipe up all the drool those two boys cause...
In fact, we could even design a set of Prison Break ones... Or even some MiSa ones.... although, I reckon, they would stay really clean!!!
Yep.... By this time next year we will be millionaires...

DVD wise, the set will be about £18-20.00 when it comes out here in UK... well, for me it will be.... I know people who know people... * Smiley points repetitively to her nose, winks and smiles* !!! I will pick you up a set when it comes out if it ends up working out cheaper here for you!!!

Oh Lordy... Dean on that vibrating bed...Sam compareed him to a lab rat in that one... Now that's one thing I would love to dissect, but no matter, I slightly wander off point.... [I know... and I am trying soooooooooooo very very hard to keep on track lately]!!! For the record, I actually tried one of those beds once when on holidays abroad with my ex hub.... They aren't, IMO, actually that comfy at all.... I had enough of it after about five to ten minutes.... that was more then enough for me.... Each to their own I suppose!!!

How did your workday go, did it all turn out well?

I read in the 3rd issue that in ep 3x02 when Lisa kissed Dean at the end of the ep it wasn't in the script, so it was a surprise for Jensen and what you see in the ep is his real reaction. As it happened I watched that very ep yesterday with my buddy E. and I must say a ton of credits to Jensen for staying in character and not even forgetting his lines!

It's a shame to take it out of all that shrink wrap... ... Jensen and Jared all wrapped up tightly..... Lovely!!!!

I saw those darn things in the bookstore at the weekend.... and as there was about 50million of them on the shelf I presume there will be one left when I go back later in week! I'll see what I can do!!!
