'Supernatural' Stars Get Gory on the Big Screen

A few months ago it was announced that Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki would both be starring in horror films set for release in 2009. First up will be Jensen's My Bloody Valentine 3-D, which will be in theaters on January 23 of next year. A few weeks later on February 13, fans can see Jared on the big screen in the remake of Friday the 13th. Now that both films have started shooting, we have additional plot details and casting information for each of these gory romps.

I can't wait for the new Friday the 13th! A totally shameless R-rated slasher flick done in the old school style? I'm there!

I have seen all the Friday the 13th Movies and saw the series ....but I didn't really get into the series version. I'am just glad that Jared is in the movie....which I can't wait to see and buy the DVD.

Also YEAH!!! To Jensen for going the horrorific way too.....but has anyone also out there noticed that these two Texas Boys.....have soooooooooooo much in common that it's sooooooooo uncanny? Both Jared and Jensen worked for the WB....on other shows. Jared the Gilmore Girls ,and Jensen was on Smallville...but they are not just alike in their career choices but in life in General?

I just noticed the dates that the movies are being released....if nothing changes...then even the movie date releases is strange....Ackles movie will be out on Jan.23...09....which means 01/23/09.....Jared's movie will be out Feb.13...09....which means 02/13/09.....maybe I should play these numbers in the lottery around that time....1239....or 2139...wow cool stuff???

I can't wait to see them both but I have to admit I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing Jensen in 3-D

Yes Jensen in 3-D is going to be awesome. He is so cute. He will be practically be reaching out for you or whatever. you could probably touch him *drool*

I will definitely go see both... maybe even multiple times as I will have my eyes closed for the really gory parts!
