The Winchesters Face Big Changes in 'Supernatural' Season 4

It feels like it's been months since Supernatural knocked our jaws to the floor with its season ending cliffhanger, but we've only been pondering Dean's fate for a few weeks now. Fans of the CW series have been wondering how long Dean will remain in Hell, what he'll be like when he returns, and how his time away from Earth will affect his relationship with Sam. The one man with the answers to all of these questions is series creator Eric Kripke, and now he's finally talking about his decision to leave Dean six feet under. In a recent interview with TV Guide, Kripke discussed what we can expect when Supernatural season 4 premieres.

OMG! Do I really feel cautiously optimistic and excited?.. "Don't worry, he's still the same smart ass he always was"???!!! Thank you, thank you Eric at least for it!!! And can we expect to see the third hug when Dean is back?? Can we?..

As a Sam fan not sure what to think? I fear Dean angst ahoy which is fine as long its not just his another Dean season is something I fear. But hey could be wrong and it maybe a great season for both , so cautiously excited is how I feel.

According to previous interviews with Kripke, it sounds like Sam's darkness will be a major issue in season 4 as well. Hopefully he'll get plenty to do. Sam doesn't get enough love.

Eventhough Deans gone but i'm excited to find out how he'll come bak lot of u guys are talking about the amulet and have u guys noticed he is wearing the amulet but not his ring so i don't know I trust Eric and its going to be an awesome season can't wait to see Jensen bring all the emotions written down for him into life It sgoing to amazing <3

This waiting is making me so nervous! I am exited, optimistic and yet extremely nervous about Dean's coming back from hell. I believe that he'll be so so dark, but yet he's our adorable smart ass Dean! How everything has effected Sam? What's gonna happened between our brothers? What way Ruby will show up in next season? And do we see Bobby in next season? OMG I can't stand this waiting.

Well, as for me, it has always been the same through all the seasons: always Sam, Sam and Sam again!! Even in season 3 there was too little of Dean for me. So I would prefer to see more, more Dean issue in season 4!!!! Go Jensen!!!!(though I love Sammy too.) But it's almost 100% it will be a great season for both of them, so let's hope every one of us will stay satisfied!

What makes me nervous is thinking about what "a different landscape" means ?? "A lot has changed since he's been away, and he has to readjust to his loved ones after being gone for so long" - OMG it's killing me!!! What the hell it means? Doesn't sound very optimistic!! And Sam??? All alone for six month, maybe more??! Or even worse - not alone, with Ruby?? No! I appreciate Katie's performance, but I really don't like Ruby. But I look forward to see Rufus again!

oooh i cant wait, its gona be ace when sam and dean come back im so excited it will be intresting to see how dean gets out of hell. did they say ruby was coming back?if so i quite like her i dont think the show has room for many female characters she seems to fit in quite well,i hope bobby comes back too.

i recon that ruby will b diff cos she doesnt have the demon ruby in her.. if that makes sense lol! the real persons probably alive and helped sam through deans death... relationship mayb? and i recon that the problem between dean and sam will b sam using his powers, and dean finding out that sams part demon! dean getting outa hell is probs bout his mum cos shes gona b a huge part of season 4! oh and rufus was cool! glad hes back! hell probs help dean figure out what happened to him in hell! i know i know i think in2 things 2 much...
