I can say that I'm glad Kripke sent Dean to hell and didn't chicken out by having the last minute save. And as hard as it will be for Sam getting Dean out of hell, or for Dean to get himself out of hell, and can't be harder then Kripke trying to explain how Dean's body didn't rot in the months he was in hell. I do think that the "Dean being in hell for a long time" will be during the summer hiatus and by the time the season starts, Dean will have been in hell for a long time. Then we can see Sam doing something that finally works, after months of trying and failing, and Dean is brought back. What I don't want is another deal though. Enough with deals already. Maybe Sam has tapped into his powers courtesy of Mentor Deus Ex Machina Ruby (yes, she iwll be back) and used those to get Dean back. Or maybe something else. Whatever, I do want Dean back in the first, or at the most the second episode. More than that then just call me when he comes back, cause I won't be watching.

Why is everybody assuming that it's going to be a long time here? I think it's a possibility that for what could be just like three days here could be years in Hell. However, I do like the comment about how Dean comes back to an evil!Sam. That would be a !@#!@.

oh ffs, people. Didn't we JUST do this last year, the b!tching and moaning because of Ruby and Bela? And the year before, with Jo? And in the end, neither was the evil that everyone was flipping their tails about, and even Eric agreed and has made course changes in the past to fix something that didn't work. Why oh why oh why oh why oh WHY is everybody whining and crying about this when we know from three years worth of experience that Eric Kripke isn't going to let us down? Hasn't let us down yet? Knows what he's doing with his baby? I mean, *really.*

I want the wait to end NOW!!! well, i just hope that the brothers WILL get back together and have the same bond that they had before. I still think it would be cool if Dean got some kind of demonic powers and helps Sam kill the demons or send them back to hell. I can't take the suspence! I want to know what happens! sigh.

I don't mind if Dean comes back a little dark and withdrawn and I don't mind if he is is hell for a while as long as the while is off screen. What I don't want is episodes without both brothers in it. I can certainly see where they will be emotional rifts between the boys for a while which IMO will only make their bond stronger in the end. What I absolutely do not want is evil Dean or demon Dean. Kripke really does know how to push his fans buttons with his comments. I just hope he doesn't push too far or he may end up losing some fans. As for me I am in it for the long haul unless Dean comes back a demon in which case he may even lose me until I hear that Dean is back to being human again. I watch the show for the brotherly bond and the true brotherly devotion the boys have for each other. If you take that away then you taking away the main element that makes Supernatural the totally awesome show that it is!

I've never commented here before, in fact I didn't start commenting on any site until this past week, though I've been an avid Supernatural fan since the Pilot episode. I don't usually get worked up about spoilers for this show, but after that finale, the Kripke comment in the Mitovich Minute really disturbed me. I want to trust Kripke's vision, but there are only two reasons I watch this show. The brotherly bond, take that away and the show is nothing special anymore. I can handle and little strife between them, but there is no show without the team of Sam and Dean. And more importantly, there is no show for me without Jensen Ackles' protrayal of Dean Winchester. I won't watch an episode without him in it, so I'm with Strangeworld, call me when Dean's back...And I want to add, to poster Mousitsa, I agree with everything you said. This show could be in trouble if Kripke doesn't do a little damage control. His little blurb was certainly open to interpretation, but people are al

I forgot to add. I can handle a slightly altered/troubled Dean, after all he's been through. But a Dark Dean or a Demon Dean. No way. That's Sam's issue, it would be ridicuous to give Dean the same struggle. I love Dean the way he is: human, courageous, protective, clever funny...as well as flawed and a bit vulnerable. I truly don't even want a Dark Sam. Maybe a bit edgier, but not Dark. I need to be able to like the lead characters/heroes in a tv show. For me, having either character go Dark, or to have them end up fighting on opposite sides, well...that is not a show I will want to watch. It will be ruined.

Okay, I have to say, I am a happy ending kind of girl. I really wanted them to save Dean. Deep down, this show is about the universal theme of "Good conquers Evil" . If evil is the big winner, it's not the same show. We want to root for the good guys, at least I do. I think that's why this show is so popular with our U.S. troops. These brothers are kicking the bad guy's asses, and we like that!
