'Supernatural' Season 4 to Lose a Cast Member - Page 2

I dunno.... I am going to be genuinely sad to see Bela go... I thought she was a cracking character.... she p****d the boys off royally.... In many ways, she is, IMO... more believable a character then Ruby is.... She has flair and style.... and a bad side to her.... that seemed to really get to the boys....
I'm not so worried if SPN kill her character off.... afterall... it is SPN.... and other characters... have successfull come back from the dead to breathe air once again... or over and over as in the case of the lovely Dean....

[Which we are all very grateful for, BTW...]... Anyway.... It's not like she resembles in any way... a character from a rival show who has just been resurrected from the dead after having lost her head.....

Nope..... Bela will hopefully be back someday.... Thanks for the fun girlie!!!!

Good riddance! She was an ill-conceived character who was shoehorned into every episode, with no purpose. I'm glad to see her go.

Good point, lillise. I liked Jo, so I guess I considered her beloved, but maybe others didn't feel the same. As for Bela being a "major character," I was more referring to the billing the actress has received on the show. Both her and Katie Cassidy get billed right under Jensen and Jared, as opposed to being considered guest stars.

Oh boy....It seems Smiley is very much the only member of the Bela Fan Club!!!! LOL!!! I really didn't think she was that bad at all... I just think that there may have been more they could have done with her character.... As much as I like the Ruby character, I have always preferred her more.... I hope she goes out with a real bang!!!!

I loved Bela... I personally liked the character... I think Ruby's great too... and Jo....

I'll be sad to see her go... Just hope she gets a good final scene..... something cool I hope.

Again I dunno.... With the Jo character.... IMO, I don't think she was given enough to do.... Yes, the ep with her locked in the box with creepy dead spirit prisoner guy was a good enough ep.... other then that and a wee fight with a possessed Sammy... she really didn't have that much to do.... There was never obviously going to be any love interest between her and either of the boys... so I suppose after that she became a little redundant to the story....

I have always thought that it was also a kind of dumb storyline... having Harvelles Pub... right there in the open... being used as a kind of 'Hunters Rest'.... It just kind of screamed ... 'Come Get Us All..... We are all dumb enough to all be under the same roof... in one place ... at the very same time....'.... I was kind of glad she got burned down..... Just sorry Ash and his Mullet had to go with her.... !!!

Also with the Ellen character.... I felt she also was a bit useless to the boys stuck there behind that bar.... tending to all the hunters who seemed to all meet up there! Now that the pub is gone..... Ellen is now a bit freer to pop up here and there... IMO, though, she has always been a stronger character then Jo!!!

Can't say I'm sad! I actually did like Jo as a hunter, think she would've been great to run into now and again, but Bela just gets in the way in an unnatural way. Sure, she's supposed to be an antagonist, so why did the boys keep giving her a second chance? That's poor planning, cause they wouldn't have done that.

Personally I think Bela should go. I definitely like the decision of taking her off the show. =) As far as Ruby goes I like her character. She is cool and I think we should see more of her. Ellen was a great character because of the family quality she showed towards the brothers, but Jo got on my nerves so much! I disliked her a lot and I am glad that we don't see her anymore. But this is just my opinion and Kripke should do whatever he wants because it is his show.
