Jensen AcklesMy opinion may be in the minority, but I truly believe that season 3 of Supernatural is shaping up to be the best year of the series.  Fans can complain about the brighter lighting, the lack of rock music, or the existence of Ruby (Katie Cassidy) and Bela (Lauren Cohan) all they like, but none of these things have really affected my love of the show.  In my eyes, Supernatural season 3 has maintained a perfect balance of epic storytelling, emotional character moments, hilarious standalone episodes, and heavy drama.  Last night's installment, "Ghostfacers," was another example of creator Eric Kripke and his writers firing on all cylinders.  It's impossible not to love an episode that contains the immortal line, "All this time you were teaching us about heart, about dedication, and about how gay love can pierce through the veil of death and save the day."

"However, it's episodes like "Ghostfacers" that prove the cast and crew are able to step outside of their comfort zones and deliver something different."

This is why I loved this episode: the outsider's POV. It's nice seeing a glimpse of the Winchesters as the rest of the world does. Besides, I think we'll appreciate the light-heartedness of this episode when the full-on angst hits again in the last three episodes. (Because I just know that's going to happen.)

It was an OK episode. Definitely not my favorite, but it's not my least favorite either.

I really liked this episode and I love how Ed and Harry were trying to be these cool Ghostfacers but in the end it was Ed's compassion and sensitivity that made Corbett face the evil ghost and destroy it. I laughed and was scared at the same time and this was the first time the boys were not the main focus in this episode. I did like the use of a cool song as the boys drove by while the Impala was purring. So cool.

I realy wanted to love "Ghostfacers" because my fav ep from season 1 was "Hell House" and dont get me wrong it was a great episode but after the wait for the final 4 episodes i think it was a bit of a letdown and i dont think ill be alone in that opinion. Ed and Harry were fantastic as always but i didnt enjoy all the "Blair Witch" camera shots and realy i just want to know how Deans gonna avoid (or not) going to hell...... answers please

I have to agree, I loved this episode. It didn't seem to drag along either, it went by just as fast as a normal Supernatural episode. I loved Sam and Dean's cussing, the sudden making out, the cheesiness, etc. I totally loved how at the end they started rolling the Supernatural credits - makes sense, as the rest of the episode was Ghostfacers! Sucks that they had to kill the footage though, haha.

I was really happy that they brought back Ed and Harry. When I saw them in Season One they were very funny. The ending was a little weird and I loved the whole bleeping thing. Also Dean at the beginning where he flicked off the camera was awesome!
