It seems like the folks at the CW are having a good time promoting this week's return of Supernatural.  The episode, entitled "Ghostfacers," finds Sam and Dean showing up on a television series similar to Ghost Hunters, and it's definitely a departure from the show's usual structure and filming style.  This first post-strike installment  reunites the Winchesters with the bumbling hunters from season 1's "Hell House," and it's filmed as though it's an actual paranormal reality series.

To get into the faux-reality style, the network has launched Ghostfacers.com.  The website features training tips, exclusive videos, a fake movie trailer, and even the official, and completely addictive, "Ghostfacers" theme song.

Very funny, though the gay relationship is a bit too similar to the Warren-Andrew dynamic from Buffy. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but now I just wish Tom Lenk were here.

They are funny and cool to watch. It will be great to watch them as Ghost "experts" but we know who the real experts are. I am sure Ghostfacers is going to be terrific and I can't wait for it to air. I am so glad the CW made the website and it shows great support for Supernatural and the crew.
