I believe that Sera is writing the season finale which means that we're in for a 'doozy' of a time. Every finale has had us breaking out the kleenex boxes and this one won't be without that pain. Will they kill Dean? I hope not. There is a way to get him out without Deus Ex Machina so we'll see if they choose that route.

ok...several people have said that both boys have died and been resurected on the show, but in reality, that is not true...Yes, Sam has died, but Dean never actually has. He's been close, but in "In My Time of Dying," Dean wasn't actually taken by the reaper. Therefore, John's deal didn't "resurect" him. Dean didn't die in "Faith" either but was instead given a second chance. Sorry for this slightly off subject tangent, but I just really wanted to set the record straight. Also, I don't know if the writers would ever actually depict hell on the show since it's a little too controversial. That's why they never say exactly what happens to the vengeful spirits when they burn and salt the bones, and why no one on the show has completely acknowledged the existance of heaven...

The death or near death and resurrection motif is a plot device that has been used in SNL effectively--I've enjoyed every tear stained moment. I'm just saying that because it's been done and done, Sera and crew will most likely pull through with something new. At least that's my hope.

I agree with suprnatralbabe. Dean can't come back as a demon like Ruby, because the odds of a demon possessing the same body he had in life are slim to none. That would mean no more Jensen, and that's downright unacceptable! Unfortunately, I think Dean will die, and I could see that pushing Sam to the darkside in order to have the power to open Hell and get Dean back. I don't think we'll see Hell, however. Kripke has said that would be too expensive to do properly, so maybe we'll only get brief glimpses through flashbacks. We know there will be a Season 4 (yay!!), so I definitely believe we'll be left with a doozy of a cliff hanger and a high body count. Hold on tight for the ride, and keep the Kleenex close!

There isn't room in supernatural for 2 "part" demon Winchesters! Sam was/is supose to be part demon.. correct? now they're saying so does dean? so basically they're going both be the exact same things they hunt.. *shakes head* i don't think so. Sam is the key to getting Dean out of the deal. I've been saying that since day one. he just has to be.

| Jared's S&M gal ![]() | Whoa....deja vu.....totally freaky 'cause we were having this same discussion in the "how should sam save dean" thread. And of course I'm one of those that is 100 percent for seeing Dean die and go to hell. I think it'd open up the door for great storylines. I'd so love to see Sam get all emo because he wasn't able to save his brother and then to see Dean being tortured (I've discovered Mei and I seem to enjoy torture, lol) in hell. Of course, Sam should go into hell to try and get his brother out but, as I've said in the other thread, I don't want to see Dean come out of hell as regular old Dean. I'd prefer he'd be in the way Ruby described, initially seeming human and helping Sam fight evil yet over time losing more and more of that humanity until he becomes evil. Jensen's done an amazing job showing how Dean's struggling with the idea of dying and I'd think he'd be even greater depicting the struggle between losing his humanity and turning evil. The one thing I definitely don't want to see is Sam discover some magic way to save Dean in the end. These brothers save each other constantly and having Sam be unable to prevent Dean from dying would be a fresh and interesting way to go. Quote:

They will probably kill Dean as the cliffhanger to end the season. Then Sam will get powerfull enough to find a way to bring him back in the first episode of the next season.

I don't have a clue how this is going to play out, which is what I love about this show: it keeps me guessing. As much as I don't want to admit it, I agree with the article but I hope that however they do this, it's something I can live with (I hate getting mad at my TV and having to throw my remote at it when things don't go my way...I think I'm getting too old for that).

Dean can't be half demon. That doesn't sound right. I think Dean will go to hell and come back. May be he will manage to "win" a friends down there and they become allies to fight this war. May be some demons or souls in hell were not there by choice. I mean John was there and then got out right. May be whoever Dean meets in hell, will help him and hope that he will help them in return. And Sam has to do something.. (duh!). I mean, he hasn't been doing much but cry. Eric Kripke won't write anything if it wasn't based on actual myths/ legends. Humm.. may be Dean will come back as a spirit and work with Sam. Like human and spirit team thing... hahha.. I have a few drinks tonight..
