Ok, everyone that thinks the girls are a good idea need to stop and think this through. The girls are defeneitly going to change the show. Yes, they will "add" to it, but it is just one small step in the wrong direction. What is the show about. The show is about urban legends, it is about the brothers, and about a demonic war. Then there is the stuff we don't know like why did their mom recongnize the YED. What about Dean and his deal he made, and most of all is Sam still Sam. Then there are the characters in the past that they have helped and the fact that there is a man hunt for both the boys. Is there any room for some hot hunter chicks. I see plenty of things that are unfinished in the SN story line. These girls are going to change the show and if they really have to be there then I beg that they are never ever in the Impala with the boys, because that is where all the brotherly stuff happens!!!!!

While really I am in the wait and see category of "Are they gonna screw up my show or not" I do believe that this is the ploy of the network. Until Kripke comes out and says otherwise ( and say it without looking like Dawn has him by the jewels) I will believe that the network who doesnt promo other than bare minimun and stabbed it in a back with that terrible looking Reaper show forced the show into sexing it up thinking the old cliche that sex brings ratings. Spend more time with Missouri, Bobby and Ellen. Make use of the awesome characters already in place. BRING BACK ELLEN.( ooo and John too)

"On the other side of the fence there is a small, but growing, contingent of fans that are welcoming the change. The boys have been going it alone for far too long, according to the counter argument. With the 'war' beginning, it only makes sense that the world of those in the trenches gets a little smaller."

i totally agree with this, and count me in the group that welcomes these changes... first off, Jared and Jensen need a break from 16 hour days, 6 days a week.

second - define "regular characters." no one has a number, but i don't think they're going to climb in the back seat of the Impala in minute 1 of episode 1 and be with them every minute of all 22 episodes. that's just silly. but i believe there are fans out there who believe this.

third - in season 1, it was just the microcosm of Dean and Sam, and John. in season 2, we learned about Ellen, Gordon and the Roadhouse... their world is expanding. at the end of S2, they unleashed, what? 200 demons on the world? it's

....it cut off my comment, so here's the rest...

Trystan - this is what J & J signed up for. They knew at the outset what the job load was going to be. They can suck it up like big boys.

The addition of two hot chicks who are better hunters than Dean and Sam is a horrifyingly bad idea. You don't do that to your main characters - it's suicide.

That aside, these boobie traps will completely alter the dynamic of the show. I didn't sign up to watch two hot chicks and two hot guys hunt spooks. It's juvenile.

There are a lot of us fans who don't mind, most of us are the mature grown up fans.

I think the fans need to grow up and just suck it up. They know nothing about what's going on behind closed doors. Some like to think they do but in the end they are just assuming. And we all know what Assuming means.

If you don't want to watch it then don't. Go watch Grey's Anatomy then it might be more up your ally.

This fandom gives me a headache.

tamarind - do you work 16 hours a day, 6 days a week, and by episode 7 look like you have bags under your eyes? look like you need to sleep for a week straight? i haven't either.

seriously, you mean to tell me that in the context of the story, Dean and Sam can track down all those demons? ALL of them? good luck. i signed on for the urban legends and demons. Jensen and Jared being hot is a bonus.

I think we should wait and see how this is going to affect the show, everybody is jumping to conclusions, I think everyone feels this is going to change the relationship between the brothers or that their fave winchester is going to have a regular love interest. Have a little faith people Kripe wouldn't do the fans or the show wrong!
