5:01 Sympathy For The Devil

Now there's happening what I was afraid would happen - there's double discussions here and on COS. Time is limited so I don't think I can fully participate at both, and since they're gonna close shop here I think I'll dedicate the majority of my time to COS.

Oh Madam... We have months left on here yet.... and I would still love to have you as company here too as well as on COS! That is fast also becoming a very good SPN Forum! It has the friendly feel of what is going on, on here! I will still be looking after the SPN threads here on new Buddy Sections as well as going on there! Don't fully desert me yet.... Please also try to peak into the new Buddy set up on SPN threads... I know many of you aren't too fond of new set up or layout but I have been reliably informed that there are great things to come over on those SPN threads... so please don't fully forget it!!!

I loved Becky. It was a great job. I bet the actress gets interviewed and invited to Cons a lot to talk about how it felt to touch Jared. They should have had her run her finger's through Jared's Hair, too!

ROFL... You make it sound like all the 'Jared Girls' were all lined up and interrogated about what it was like to 'touch' Jared... LMAO.... and then picked the most excitable and experienced one for this role... LOL.... It's amusing that 'Jensen' was largely left alone in this bit... more amusing when you look at the whole picture of how fandom really works with girlies...

On a funnier note... regarding this ep... I did get a great link off a SPN pal of mine off F/B and after a early morning spent swearing an cursing like a trooper at the fact that my new speakers I plugged into my computer this morning still wasn't giving me sound... I eventually figured out that I had a demon computer that needed an exorcism.... then my ten year old tells me to shutup screaming at the thing... move quickly to kitchen away from him... and to calm down, not talk a single word for a whole ten minutes and to make a large two full spooned caffeinated coffee for myself...he then shuts the door and proceeds to take a look at it all...and informs me within seconds that I had to plug a cable into the actual machine for the darn thing to work.... I hate kids... I really do... One week back at school and already he is heading towards an engineering degree... really hate him this morning!!!

We then sat down to watch it... big screen and all.... have to say, new speakers are working fine... surround sound all over the room... freaky... Very interesting stuff... jam packed full of ways to take the show this coming season... I, for one have to admit... I am normally one who can sit thru a season opener of a show and practically guess what is coming for the rest of the season... I normally tend to read characters well... but with this show... damn it, certain aspects of it has me completely stumped.... Poor Sam... my heart was actually breaking for him at one stage.... how do you find strength to not top yourself after making that serious error? Dean, too... a broken guy... it's inevitable really that he very well team up with new sidekick Cas [I still hate the fact that this is always shortened by all... something not right about it, I guess it's the lapsed catholic side of me trying to raise it's ugly head again and show folks that there is still some religious knowledge inside me somewhere... ]

Is that it with Meg? She's left the meat suit now.... I dunno... as good as she was as an actress, still would love to see old Meg back... she really rocked!!!

And more talk of Daddy Winchester.... Oh I swear... I will get down on my knees and crawl whilst kissing the ground all the way to the North Pole and back again if JDM makes an appearance in the show this season.... Time is good now folks for Daddy to come back.... The Winchester's is seriously outnumbered here and could do with an extra pair of hands....

On your feet, Bobby.... it is just a scratch!!! Slightly on the *SPOILER* side.... but the wonderful Mr Jim Beaver, aka... Bobby did recently say that he is fast becoming more multilingual with all the languages Bobby has to say... now adding a few Gaelic words to the mix!!! This is obviously coming up in a few eps from now... oh excitement... excitement... excitement.... I hope the hearing of some gaelic words doesn't make me too homesick for home soil... although technically, he could also be referring to Scottish Gaelic which is entirely different to Irish Gaelic... Oh I dunno... can't get enough of this show...

Ok ... random questions, I have about this particular ep... or rather adding to those covered in last few posts....

That molar that Chuck managed to remove from his hair... assuming it's Cas' angel molar... how much more money do you think the tooth fairy will give him cause it's a step above the normal ones she may collect? it's a rare one after all....

Did the boys have a time travel machine/function installed in the Impala... [welcome back baby... Smiley missed you too.... ].... as they hit about three different US states in the first 5 minutes...

That lock up of Daddy's.... what else is in there? There must be more there then just a pile of weirdo angels and their buckets of testrostrone.... in theory, as Dean is 'Michael's Sword' or whatever... they could easily have met Dean & Sam down in a side booth of a local cafe to save all that travelling....

'Waterballoon of chunky soup'.... interesting way of putting things... my mini me actually took a note of that one to add a more interesting description of his vomit the next time he throws up in school... seriously, it never fails to amaze him how after he gets sick in school... he gets back to his class and his teacher always asks him to describe what it was like... He thinks that one might actually be a fun one to use next time...

Talking of MiniMe... He hit me with a nearby dictionary when I screamed out loud and clapped at the same time when Castiel made his first appearance in the ep... I found myself shouting... 'Go Cas!... Whoo Whoo!!!'... simply becasue that was a cracking good scene... he really kicked ass!!! Welcome back Misha to the fold!!!

Mark Pellegrino, to his credit, did a very good first ep appearance! He worked that part well! Great choice for the role! I am looking even more forward to seeing how he plays out a more 'confident' Lucifer role now that I have first seen him play the 'broken man' role!!! Very happy that we had a gradual introduction to him rather then an appearance in the first few seconds of the ep! Damn it.... Would it kill you, Eric Kripke and Co.... just to have one demon/angel apear in a bright light, Terminator style... all naked... with a few minutes of him wandering around looking for clothes? Ok then... I'll forgive you, Master Kripke and your wonderful team of writers if you bring the lovely JDM back this way.... He seems to love doing the whole 'naked butt' thing in every movie and show he's in.... Hurry now... throw in a shower scene and a little white towel and we're away..... now don't disappoint us!!! Hurry ... hurry ... hurry....

I digress a bit... good to see all back! cracking ep... sadly too short... I was in a mood to sit by my machine and watch a whole day of SPN eps... I dunno how long I am going to find these weeks now in between eps...that there is something to look forward to....

But where do you all get that the angels showed themselves in their true angelic form to their intended vessels? Yes, Castiel communicated with Jimmy, but has it been said, or even implied, that Jimmy saw him in his true angelic form, real wings and all?

That's true. How do we know that they can see true angelic form? We know that they can hear them, though, but who knows if they can handle to actually see them?!?

Maybe Dean can hear only Michael? Well, anyway I'm sure that we will get answers to this ....

I don't recall ever saying the angels showed themselves visually. Were you saying I said that? I don't think I did. IF I did, I didn't mean that. Cas certainly SPOKE to them. So, if I said showed, I meant revealed, not stood in front of them to let them gaze upon them. I don't know where SEEING them has entered the conversation! Although it sure seemed the arch angels coming to Chuck were gonna be seen; all the bright light and stuff; I don't know why they'd be hiding.

What did you guys think all that ringing noise, electronics malfunction and stuff breaking and Jimmy seizing was about?! It was because Cas was trying to talk to them. And I do suppose Jimmy was seeing Cas as he was downloading into him. He was looking right up at him.

I'm confused as to what seeing them has to do with anything. All we were talking about was why could Dean not tolerate hearing Cas when he's supposed to be vessel material. From what the show has given us, it appears that vessels are the "special people" who can hear angels speaking in their true form Cas was referring to when he met Dean and said he'd mistaken him for one.

My guess is because he's keyed only to Michael. *shrug*

Yeah no one ever said anything about actually seeing god or any of the angels we were talking about hearing them Calena.

And as to why I think Chuck can hear them . I am just going by what I know about the bible Prophets and Apostles have both been known to see and hear Angels in their true form . Obviously no one can see God in true form and live according to the bible ,but apostles and prophets have both heard the voice of God.

So I wasn't the only one who thought that this ep was way too short.... ~It's so different when you watch it online without the hours of adbreaks!!! It went way too quick for my liking!!!

I liked the 'Becky' character part.... I got the overall point of her... it seems to have gone over some peoples heads though why she was so 'in your face'!!! Funny character.... don't want to see her again in a hurry, I add but she was funny all the same!!!
