Sam and Dean get a phone call about a demon that possesses people and causes planes to crash. The brothers are forced to face the demon aboard a plane, where Dean also faces his fear of flying. In the end Sam finds an exorcism and uses it to exorcise the demon.

Lets discuss this episode.

First all, How cute was panicky!Dean it was so sweet...And for some reason I find calm trying to re-assuring Sam kinda hot in this episode.

Moving on...I felt so sorry for Sam when the demon brought up that Jess was in hell.

Do you think Jess did actually go to hell or was it a lie to distract Sam?

This was the episode we first saw the EMF! When watching it, my buddy E. said "You know, I could build one of these". Naturally I told him to go ahead. At Asylum 3 I got it signed by the Js. Jensen didn't want to sign at the place I wanted him too. But of course I didn't want to argue with him, not after all the mayhem on Friday night.

Also we of course first saw demons in this ep, which look very similar to Lost's smoke monster. But even back then I found demons to be cool.

I agree, I loved scared of flying Dean. And of course it gave us the explanation why the boys drive everywhere (along with that you really can't take weapons with you on planes)

Do I think Jess went to hell? No idea. I don't think you go to hell by default when YED burns you on the ceiling, like you go to hell when making a crossroads deal. Probably you get the evaluation process everyone gets and then depending on whether you are a good or bad person you go to either heaven or hell.

This ep was a very good one.
