Smile I Liked It!

Obviously; that's why I'm a fan now. I can't really believe those of you saying you weren't impressed really mean that. It had to have impressed you enough, or you wouldn't have watched anymore of it. Who keeps watching something that didn't impress them?

I was so pleasantly surprised by it. It was just so not what I had thought it would be. It's funny, too, because I'd forgotten Jensen existed somehow (I know, it's shocking to me, too. OUt of sight, out of mind, I guess.) after having been a Dark Angel fan. I was watching that first episode thinking, "Who IS this guy? He looks so familiar; I know I know him from somewhere!" Duh! I always have too much on my mind; things get left by the wayside.

I didn't say I hated it. I liked it enough to give it another chance. You know, some people are willing to postpone their final judgements until after they have seen a few eps of a show, as opposed to seeing seconds of it when channel hopping. Guess what that refers to! Sorry.

I wasn't instantly hooked, like I was this Lost. I fell in love with Lost the second Jack opened his eyes on that island, that's approximately what - 3 seconds into the show? I just knew I'd love it. I didn't have that feeling with SPN. But intense love burns out fast, and S3 and 4 of Lost were less than stellar, why my love for SPN has been ever-growing.

Some things, yes, but Jensen! Well, prior to watching SPN I knew it had that dude from Gilmore Girls and that dude from Dawson's Creek in it, since I hadn't watched the second season of DA then. I remedied that immediately after falling in love with SPN, though.

I had only seen Jensen in Dark Angel, and he wasn't in it all that much and it had been, what, 8 years or so? Sheesh! I know, it's shocking, but I do have a lot to deal with.

Well, some people can tell right away if something is good or not. By the way, I tried watching en ep. of Angel yesterday and I just can't take those people in that fake green makeup. I like my fake things to look real. Is that supposed to be an actual supernatural creature (demon?)? Or some guy who dresses like one? If it's the latter, then that's different. Is Buffy not like Angel? I thought Angel spun from Buffy? Or something.

I was hooked on Supernatural from the pilot. I thought it really different and interesting. I think the dynamic between the brothers was the most interesting thing. Their personalities really shined through and the chemistry was great. Jared's terrible haircut was sad, but otherwise, really liked the ep. Sure, it's not as good as many other eps. that have come after it, but it was a great start, I think.

How come most of the baddies on this show have dark hair? Isn't that a bit narrow-minded? Constance, Luther, that zombie chick, Bloody Mary, hookman, etc. etc. Come on, people!

If memory serves me correctly, you weren't too gone ever on his character in that show.... you kind of likened him to a wet flannel on many occasions... which is kind of funny now....
I never was one to watch Dawson's Creek though... it was on on a Sunday afternoon in our house at home in Ireland and if we weren't out altogether playing sunday footie games or training... we were watching the All Ireland Gaelic Football/Hurling games on the other channel! That was of course back in the day when homes had only one TV in a central room and every other neighbour watched the same thing as we did at the same time... In fact, I bought my Mum & Dad their first little bedroom TV out of my first 'big' paypacket I got when I started nursing! It was the smallest TV ever... but it lasted them years... Anyway, back to DC... I watched the odd random ep of that show when it was first on TV... it bored me rigid tbh.... I really hate those school-ish shows with a passion... I suppose when you grow up in a house full of people who are big 1930's Horror Movie fans, a show like Dawson's really doesn't compare... I don't remember Jensen in that show at all... although to be fair, why would I? It made no impression on me in the first place... regardless of who was in it!!!
Dark Angel... well Calena put me on the road to that show... and sad I was that show was over way before it's time....

Well, adult Lillith is blonde!

Thou shalt not watch Angel before you hath watched the first 3 seasons of Buffy.
The green guy is a demon.

I never said I loved DC!

Yes, and don't you have to admit that I have really good taste in TV shows!?

I know Jared's character in GG reminds you of your first boyfriend. And he was nice and all. But he was a WUSS!!!

Also when talking about the pilot I should mention that the the first few eps I was constantly wondering why Dean (from GG) insisted on calling that other guy Dean.
